Large List of Bugs Encountered After Patch 1.0.2

There does not seem to be a great place to put this list of issues, so I will submit them all here instead of spamming 20+ posts on the forum. These are all issues present through the latest update.

-GA teleport glitch when using charge: seems to be more consistent when using the ability from a raised or sloped surface (stairs, ledge, tree stump, etc). The ability will take you about 90% of the normal distance before suddenly snapping the player back to their previous (original) position.
-AH sold item notification hides weapons and CDs: this does NOT apply to other similar popups (abandoning event, Azoth cap, etc.), only when the +[gold] notice above your healthbar appears.
-Fishing menu issues: when in “fishing mode”, ie with a rod equipped, you are unable to interact with or use the map, game menu, chat, etc. If the map or menu is opened, you will be unable to use them or return to fishing until either a bite is missed or an already hooked fish has gotten away
-Hatchet invuln doesn’t work: Defy Death sometimes will not proc even when not on cooldown. Additionally, no CD is displayed for DD where other buffs/debuffs do (fortify, poision, etc).
-Blood Lust will sometimes not proc: even with the great axe equipped and in hand, WHILE looking at an enemy in the effective range, BL will randomly not give the speed buff. This seems to primarily happen with lower level enemies who have a shorter “leash” distance, but that could be incorrect.
-Chat lag: text chat lags by 1-10 minutes if too many unread messages are backlogged. This is only fixed by opening every single chat channel to clear it.
-Fast travel failed: sometimes fast travels will be interrupted for no reason
-Cannot trade: attempting to trade an object that has recently been unlocked/locked for salvage will result in the trade failing
-Friends list all appear offline
-Cannot send gold to offline players: this might be an intended “mechanic”, but if so the game should not allow players to send it anyway. The transaction will proceed like normal, followed by a notice, “failed to send $xx.xx gold to [player]”.
-Social menu disappears: randomly you will be unable to see the social menu prompt above players’ heads or even open the social menu with its hotkey until another menu has been interacted with (map, AH, crafting, etc)
-Two fetch quests in one area: cannot complete second: for example, if you have 2 of the same quest to collect 3 items from chests in an area, once 3 chests have been searched, both quests will be marked complete. This will not end until one is turned in, at which point the other will become active again. Attempting to search more chests will NOT add to completion, it will only “use” those chests, forcing the player to wait until they are interactable again.
-Two identical town board missions cannot be completed at the same time, or one will keep an empty marker on map until you relog.
-Cannot accept quests from NPC if menu/point interaction at same time: if an attribute/weapon point is available and the game flashes the reminder message WHILE interacting with an NPC, that NPC becomes locked up until the player exits the interaction and uses their in-game menu.
-Resetting house CD with Azoth does not update the map, so you cannot recall until the map is closed and reopened.
-GA inf charge: I have no idea how to replicate this, but here is a video: New World great axe charge bug - YouTube
-Friendly ice pylon draws melee attacks: the pylon is coded as an enemy and will draw friendly melee attack targeting. This also occurs with Tomb.
-Campsite not updating on map: possibly fixed with most recent patch. Building a new campsite will not update the camp marker on the map.
-Quest items stay illuminated in world after completion: quests such as the cannon sabotage one will permanently illuminate those items if other portions of the mission are still incomplete. This causes confusion as to where the other quest items might be.
-Flashing lighting glitch in dark areas: Rattlevine Ridge in FL is a great example of this. I can provide video if needed, but wanted to avoid posting anything that might provoke those with epilepsy. Some combination of fog and forced “nighttime” lighting causes a constant white strobing effect, which can literally cause seizures, not to mention being headache inducing.
-Uninitialized titles/achievements: can be fixed with a relog
-Food buffs not showing on health hotbar: can be fixed with a relog. Seems to be similar to the weapon CD issues with selling items on the auction house
-Sliding while in camp menu: sometimes when opening the camping menu, the player model’s walk does not animate. They just slide around the map.
-Camera permanently bouncing when in inventory, only when opening inv after a fall or while standing on a slope: incredibly difficult to reproduce, but I experienced this twice last night.
-Can’t damage enemies on downward slope: stairs are the worst for this. Enemies can target the lower half of my player model hitbox, however it is not possible to aim downward due to my attacks missing over the top of the enemy hitbox. This applies to PVP as well as PVE, and is easily reproduced in duel scenarios.
-Abandoning event notification: it’s still in the game
-Opening house decoration menu freezes game
-Visual glitch on random ground textures after teleporting or recalling: inconsistent, but reliably happens in Brightwood.
-Missing item textures/placeholder icons in several crafting menus
-House decoration placement: please change how the camera/player movement handles when attempting to decorate. This isn’t even a bug, just incredibly painful and frustrating game design. Due to the nature of third person camera depth, playing objects is a very negative experience. It is nearly impossible to get some items where you intend. This could easily be fixed with a keybind for x/y/z axis lock, so tiny mouse movements don’t fling objects off in unintended directions.

One other thing I forgot that just came up after I submitted this: the War Hammer is bugged. Hardened Steel is supposed to grant grit to all heavy attacks, but it does not give grit until ~75% of the way through the animation. Compared to something like the Great Axe, which gets grit as soon as the heavy attack input is registered, this is incredibly frustrating for tanks or even just for PVE against multiple mobs. The number of times I’ve been stunned out of a heavy attack is too high.
