right? they get a S&S skill defensive resolve with a lower cd and they dont even have to slot it in a skill bar lol

Fortify is nerfed next patch, especially on lights, BB have fortify on light equip load. The nerf you want is coming. Problem solved, congrats.

you have to have some sort of skill to be useful on bbig.
fireball will do more damage alone with 0% skill needed then a whole bbig combo.

Perk is broken on live. But PTR changes to fortify do fix that issue. 50% on light armor is like 10% dmg mitigaion. So instead taking 7k GS hit you will take 6.3k.
According to the perk description you receive a flat 50% dmg red, not fortify. So the update doesn’t affect this
Maybe test on PTR to make sure of this sometimes the tooltips are wrong, if it is straight damage reduction, then I agree with your suggestion 100%. Lights shouldnt mitigate damage like tanks. Simple.

comparing to all others weapons, BB still seems untouched, so IMO stsill a joke from ags side…

[George90] Checked on PTR and it is Fortify that they get. Hence, no big deal, scroll up.
I just went to PTR and here it is, this represents 10% dam,age absorbtion in light and 12/13% in medium. Debate is closed isnt it now? The perk is fine. I love it when people rant about something they are unaware is fixed. I guess that’s why forums can be helpful.

i mean, at least they making tooltips more consistent with the patch, as probably dmg reduction was already the wrong term as it was fortify all the time.
Agreed, clearly positive! And also with the nerf of fortify the Last stand passive is fine now, not overpowered.

No they aren’t. The fortifications changes alone are nerfs to the Bb and they also said they will be making further adjusts before ptr goes live. It’s going to get nerfed.
thanks for this fresh info (13h). previously, the only noticeable incoming change in BB was a straight dmg boost (cartridge’ elemental bonus). and it’s still relevant.
