I’m reposting due to my post being removed. I play on El Dorado and the fishing leaderboard is ridiculous. The #1 fishing player on the leaderboard has 182 fish, i have friends that fish all day every day and don’t have as many fish. My friends and I wear the vengeful set minus the chest and pants. The chest and pants are swapped with the fierce fishing pieces for max lucky waters. We even swap poles and baits based off of day/night cycles. This #1 player on El Dorado is clearly botting, we’ve watched them catch 9 legendaries out of one hot spot. Instead of doing something about it AGS wants to flag posts like these and silence people as if bots don’t exist…
Mind you, this player has also changed the name of their company to clearly botting. Because they know they’re being mass reported and nothing is being done about it.
Lol ngl, the “clearly botting” change of company name makes me feel like this is a real human… and he’s now just trolling you all cause you clearly were complaining
Now there def is a chance he’s a bot, but bots don’t typically recognize when they are being talked about on the server, so why would he change the company name to that?
He literally could just want to be #1 on the leaderboard and decided to no life for it. I have a friend who decided to no life territory influence leaderboard. He is playing 18 hours a day, literally only bar pushing. Looking at the board for legendary fish on CoS it’s like 128 fish I believe, and I have no idea how much fishing that person is doing…

The leaderboards aren’t dominated by bots, but people who are no-lifing or colluding.
I mean, on El D, the top war healer has 45 million heals…
Maybe the player is super rich and hired someone to play their character when they sleep so they keep getting fish. Who knows some people are just crazy committed.
I didn’t say catching 9 fish out of one hotspot was botting but it’s definitely an exploit of some sort and should be looked into by AGS. But will it be looked into by AGS? No, because despite the developers saying they play their game they simply don’t.
I’m not sure if half of you even fish, it is literally impossible to catch 9 legendary fish out of one hot spot without a form of exploit. Most of you comment, just like my last topic, saying they’re probably account sharing which is also against ToS. However, nothing has been done about people sharing accounts since beta so it’s whatever. I don’t fish I simply investigated this person because of the wide gap on the leaderboard, some of my friends are up there, yes, and they’ve been fishing all day since day 1 legitimately. I simply highlighted the problem hopefully they get banned, either way you guys are turning a blind eye to the problem.
I would say yes to this, but my friends and I no life this game because we love it. We’ve monitored this person because they want to be on top of the boards obviously and they’re almost never on.
I caught 6-7 legendary fish back to back out of one hot spot in RS a few months ago. Has never happened before or since but it’s possible. It’s unlikely but it can happen.
BTW, how do you know they caught 9 legendary in one hot spot?
I found them at the rapid secret spot in Ebonscale and watched them fish and watched how many points their score went up.
