Top 20 literally all bows/muskets, and have absurd k/d ratios like 100 lmfao…OPR on my server is truly a toxic cesspool right now.
Whose idea was it to give every DEX weapon a stagger btw? Shouldn’t stagger be exclusive to STR? It really makes this dex spam meta so toxic, when you can easily die with full stam from full health.
Thank you, could you also forward this msg to the dev team. Maybe suggest they put out in game polls so they know what players really want instead of just guessing all the time.

Haven’t played OPR in a couple months due to musket issue. Looks like it’s not a good time to start again lol.
Just delete muskets from the game. Its easy
Point players need points to be rewarded to them (time on point + being in point on the cap)
Bob the builder needs point buff.
These are the players that need more love and be at the top of the leaderboards because they are a huge reason for why their team wins IF it’s not clearly over after the first Sol fight.
This has become such a huge issue that big streamers like Mika RS are literally just hiding on top of a rock in OPR waiting for it to finish because of all of the bows and muskets.
If you aren’t a bow or musket user, you aren’t going to have any fun and without OPR all you have left is 3v3, which aren’t ranked, and wars, which are few and far between.
The developers are addressing the wrong things and making their most loyal player base (PVP players), leave in droves.
Its sad to see but unless this is prioritized and fixed fast, we’re gonna be looking at 10k avg players in less than a month.
And if you play melee you face that GS with billion damages and his friend statpadding heal on him.
But this is better when everyone start play only muskets and bow. No problem with other nerfs/bufs :X
Brimstone patch : you have to play one of the few meta build or you suck
Leaderboard patch : you have to be cancer.
I think you are 100% right if the pvp balance changes dont come soon (which they said the ptr is the end of this month…) or if the changes arent enough the game will be fully dead once again
And to top it all of we cant even leave an opr game of all muskets now with out getting penalized, like all they have to do is log into the game for 2 hrs and que opr to see whats going wrong

I’m lucky to be on abaton. We have one musket player Uber padding with a 180kdr, rest of the players are just playing normally, having fun. Mostly trying to get wins. And then sometimes people are stuffing the stat sheet to get PB NPC kills, PB score, PB kill total etc.
I wish the standard was better yes, but this is the most fun I’ve had in opr for a while. Played 31 games today.
Opr is most fun when all 40 players are trying to win and current meta on abaton is close to this.
People are actively trying to push themselves and this hopefully getting better at the game.

Yeah lets have all opr healers swap to aoe since thats what makes for good games.
Clearly that streamer isn’t good. I mean why else would he die to musket users who has been op since this game’s inception. Clearly he didn’t dodge enough in light armor. Clearly he didn’t used a shield, or mealstorm to destroy projectiles, or maybe he didn’t heal enough.
This is a l2p issue. Not the game fault Outpust rush isn’t fun. It isn’t fun because he’s bad at the game. /S
No you see its completely fine for weapons who out range everyting but themselves (bow/musket) to be able to 3 shot people (2 shot in some cases with bow) one of them being a hitscan weapon ,its totally fine that these weapons do soo much damage on their own that they dont need a secondary and can just use it for purely utility.
I don’t struggle against musket and I’m not a good pvper.
In my assassin build I melt them as long as I can bait out the riposte. And in my bruiser/tank/healer build I just ignore them.
The problem comes when there are 2 or more muskets because of hitscan and lack of cover. But going against 2 of anything is hard if they know what they are doing.
Musket isn’t op in opr because it’s a glass cannon laser. It’s op because it has ridiculous range and accuracy. It’s dmg is actually in line with all other weps except bow.
Give it projectile and put proper cover in opr maps.
Don’t nerf an already underperforming weapon.
This is the worst PvP has ever been in this game. Instead of fixing problems devs are just making them worse. Most popular build in OPR now is Bow/Hatchet because everyone is just stat padding. Leaderboards are the worst thing that has ever been added to this game.
I dare the devs to make a video of them trying to play OPR! Let’s see how long it takes before they quit their own game.
