Legacy of Crassus

It says more about them than it does about the game. I genuinely feel pity for the people who stay in this forum to do nothing but complain. If I don’t like a game, I’m certainty not going to wallow in its forum just to cry.

And no I’m not talking about people who actually want the game to succeed that give feedback

i mean there are some people who still play the game and like to provide feedback.

i didnt “cry” that the previous events were unchallenging grinds. but they were. Is it going to change with the next event? probably not. would it change if we give them feedback? maybe

this whole shut up and play something else if you dont like anything about the game menthality isnt exactly going to help the game

The “it’s only 40$ bro go play other games” argument is getting kind of old.

There are games which are free to play and uphold higher standards and it’s not a bad thing to expect and want more. Especially if you paid for something.

Granted there are better and worse ways of doing it, but I think it’s still better to critique than to be a white knight and/or a passive head eater when things go south. The line between loyalty and simping is rather clear.

Exactly…and the problem is, players are leaving to play other games…so telling players to leave is counterproductive.

Exactly! If all of the people who enjoy the game but are bored actually decided to go play something else tomorrow, game would die tomorrow lol!

Brimstone brought players back and then they realized the dev’s still didnt introduce a proper end game.

Keep telling people to leave and the game will actually be dead with no chance of coming back.

How are you not lvl 60

I am casual player, have a job, have a wife, have a life. Started the game two weeks ago.

Im confused because of when you joined the forums

No need to be confused. I joined the forums to get info before actual game play. Feel free to ask more questions.

its because the bosses lack personality. baalfazu was the first and last boss that actually had some resemblance of personality. but there is one key aspect of the formula. build up. much like myraak from the dragon born dlc in skyrim you are introduced to him though his minions who try to kill you, then you have to find out just what a myraak is but in order to do so you need to go through a set of trials. then find out his goals, then find out his motives, then fight your way to him, then the big final battle. open world bosses lack this build up. and in some way that needs to be realized. its fine to have an open world boss battle but there needs to be a sense of establishment. what does this boss want and why. and are there signs that what this boss does will be a negative impact on the player if the boss is left alone to succeed. or is there a current reason why an open world boss needs to be kept on a short leash. will their lack of maintenance mean a hindrance to the player or probably better received a reward for intervention. this is why player made questing tool kits could be a good thing. the devs dont have the time or other reasons not worth getting suspended over that the open world experience is so lacking.

GW2 do open world bosses very well, there is a build up to the encounter, various NPC’s start moving towards the engagement zone, and the mini build up quests make everything that much nicer.

In contrast from my perspective NW open world bosses are just mutation bosses, but outside
and the amount of cut and past that goes on is just silly.

The Devs at AGS just are not experienced enough yet, but they have and will get better. The Legacy engine isn’t helping either.

I really enjoyed playing NW, had alot going for it, but if peeps are honest, it looks like the game is in permanent maintenance mode +.

I wish it wasn’t the case, but it is what it is.

lets hope something big drops, but I doubt it will. :frowning:

Once again, healers get left out. Sure, there are secondary weps for the healer to use but no wep directly attributed to healing. Another wasted effort to help a dying game.

How many people do you need playing for you to be happy with the population?

I need servers to not die every week. Then I’ll be happy. The fact that I can transfer to a new server and it dies before the transfer CD is back up is insane to me

Same here. I had been farming hard for it and finally hit an “Ok, I give up…I’ll kill rabbits if they’re on my way to wherever I’m going, but that’s it” point in the event, and for some reason after I made that decision the chest dropped within 20 kills.

I didn’t - and still don’t - mind the fact that not everyone got one. Not everything in every event needs to drop for every person.

That doesn’t answer the question. What server pop do you need in order to be satisfied?

Ya I would love some crazy Greta unique drops that are so rare that only a few people on the server have them. Like I genuinely use to love the grind of Laz bow and WoTA before umbral allowed you to upgrade. It was a full grind (minus the orbs being dumb) genuinely can get any item in this game in under like 12 hours of grind
