Currently legendary resources are not being used to their full potential. The weapons you can craft are good for a fresh lvl 60 as well as Void Bent sets.
I guarantee most players will have stacks of these items sitting in storage as they’re not even worth selling for 0.05
A new set of armour and weapons could be implemented for end game players that require an abundance of these resources.
For example a sword would require: 5 x shattered swords, 5 x VB ingots, 5 x each T5 material, 5 crests of fortitude, 5 petrified fire, possibly trophy materials to add a Bane perk to the weapon. Etc
Possibly even a quest attached to each item, not anything like the boring 580 quests. But to bring down named bosses in a set time. Even tricky pvp quests like “get 5 kills with the javelin ability”
The choice of stats should be optional but require different t5 resources.
And to make it worth wild all the items could come out stock 615 gs with the possibility to rng roll all the way to 625gs.
- It would increase the demand for a large amount of obsolete items and add insensitive for players to visit multiple places.
- It would be rewarding for players who have maxed crafting skills.
