Can anybody confirm if they have had legendary gear drops from open world or expeditions that are less than 600 Gear score? (With the exception of Tier 4 legendaries)
I have a theory that if you watermark is high enough and the loot drops at 600 Gear score you get the legendary item, but if either your watermark isn’t high enough or even if it is but your loot roll was less than 600 you will get an epic version of it.
Meaning that the advertised possible loot on Genesis and Lazarus etc is total nonsense until your watermark is at 600.
I have seen tons of epic versions of all these possible legendaries, but I have yet to see for myself or even anyone in global receive the legendary versions.
It’s fine if that’s how it actually works, but we should know if that’s the case.
Similar to crafted items for example, once you can craft at 600 Gearscore they can become a legendary item.
