Hi, I know it’s been said multiple times already, but I’m gonna say it again since there is absolutely no solution for this absurd quest line “bug”. It’s not even a bug, the dev just forgot something important, and oh, too bad for us :confused:

So, I finished the quests that requires us to farm ressources to craft equipment pieces.
The quests are finished, the equipments are bad blue items.
We have millions of differents item to sort and a limited storage, so, as everyone would do, I need to get rid of these bad items. Nothing tells me I’m gonna need them later anyway and I have better gear already so, the only thing I can do is throw them away. Which I did. I was worried I would need it later but, If you let me throw it on the floor, it means that I’m not gonna need them later right ? You wouldn’t let me do something like that, video games don’t work like that. Right ?

Later on, I receive Legendary ressources that are used to upgrade the Equipment I threw away.
0 way to craft these equipment again.
0 way to salvage/throw the legendary ressource.
So here I am, stuck with 8 items I will never be able to use, using space on my inventory, that I can’t even place in any storage.

Fun fact, I saw on another topic that, not only many MANY different users had this problem, but also that this problem was well known because people used to salvage these equipments … which they patched … but they forgot to block the possibility to throw them on the floor. If the job is half done, the job is not done.
Another fun Fact , from what I’ve seen, I’ll even receive 4 more items soon enough :slight_smile:

The name of these 12 items are :
Transference Icon, Transference Seal, Transference Charm, Transference Ward
Darkened Agent, Shaded Agent, Shadowed Agent, Tenebrous Agent
Spark of Adrenaline, Spark of Impulse, Spark of Willpower, Spark of Battle

Make it go away, please.

It seems like this “”“”“bug”“”“” is known since day 1 and you still do not care about it, and I won’t stop talking about this until you start to care about it.

I decided to let go the other 2.7 trillion bugs I’ve seen in this game, but at this point it starts to become really, really annoying.

Do something.

But since things are always half done, I have to ask this:

If they ever actually fix this, will the fix only stop this situation to happen in the future, by blocking the possibility to throw these items on the floor OR will they give a solution for those who already did the mistake and are stuck with the ressources ? Because it really needs to be both of these. If they only fix the main issue, it’s not gonna help me at all.

Also, how and when can I know it’s been fixed, where should I look at to see they did something about it ?

I want an answer on my second question, I wanna make sure you specified this and I wanna know when I’m expected to see any change.

Because as I see in the forum, you guys like to say "we sent it over to the dev !! :slight_smile: " and 8 months later we still have the same shitty issues.

What could they even work on ? How is that such a big deal seriously.
Just activate the possibility to trash these trash item and period.
It should be hotfixed in 5 minutes, not x months.
Same as all the quests bugged, that’s sad, I literally can’t spend 5 minutes without experiencing a bug. I like the game but this is too much.

Presumably they want to fix or improve the actual quests behind these. Sure, adding the ability to delete them would be quick, but if they required these items in the future, it could ruin progression again for people.

Since when ? i got those 12 legendary item stuck in my inventory since the past 3 months.
Still cant get rid of them.

These items can’t be needed for the future. Their only purpose is to turn the bad blue items into bad purple items, AND it’s not even part of the quest anymore. The quest is done at this point, so it’s pointless to not let us salvage them. They won’t ever be required.

Or even more simple if you really wanna make it work the intended way : They could create a recipe for each of these armor pieces, that do not require to farm quest items but regular ressources. This recipe would only be available after the quests are done. So we get these back and evolve them with the legendary ressources. It doesn’t take a full team of people, thinking hard for 8 months, to solve this “issue”. There are 2 solutions, simple ones, there can’t be trillions of different possibilities for this. So why don’t they just do it, why do they keep saying they care about it but don’t know what to do. Just do something, anything, a solution is a solution, this isn’t a 750IQ problem.

Excuse me when was this ever resolved? Came back after a year and still bugged , actually worse than before because you cant move the items apart from moving from your storage then you re stuck with them forever. LOL

Same! I either need to drop the mats or let me restart the questline somehow… PLEASE!

You don’t see anything about it in the patchnote because they do not care about it.
They are busy adding new content with new bugs to bring people back on their broken game instead of fixing it first :clown_face:

I saw replies like that on 8 months old topics that never got solved

Still nothing is planned to be done, still nothing more than a some kind of bot answer in this topic from a mod.

And now i’m stuck with other items like “The huntress” or “Keen Temper” and the quest not being done. I know they said something about this but if they treat this problem as the other one, it’s gonna take months to complete my quests I guess.

Will we ever be able to get rid of these 12 items ?

I think it’s important to remember that it’s not game breaking, just frustrating to be reminded that you love something so broken. Perhaps instead try to embrace it.

You have the option of not taking them on your personally inventory. If you can avoid that first costly mistake then the items are only stuck in your shed.

If you did make that mistake, try to get used to not clearing your inventory.

If you create a new character this week, it will not be able to suffer from this issue.
