Legendary tools perk

Hello I was under the impression that the legendary tools would roll guaranteed mote gathering for the 5th perk however when I crafted a couple of them I failed to get the mote gathering perk on my tools. Idk if this is a bug or if it isn’t guaranteed

Update: I’ve sent a ticket to customer support, they have sent it further to senior technicians and will get back to me, fingers crossed!

Who knows, AGS is very keen to throw the hammer down anytime it benefits the player then sleep when its a disadvantage.

I wouldn’t be too worried about it. There is nothing that they can do that will really hurt you. If they choose to just fix the bug and not change the perks on the tools/bags we already crafted then we will have legendary gs 600 discontinued items that are incredibly rare and would be worth a lot in the future. If they choose to reperk the tools or bags we had already crafted then we just get the thing we wanted to begin with. Yes we lose out on the ability to farm motes and stuff as the new perks came out to make a bunch of money but it’s hard for them to compensate for that unless they do the discontinued item pathway but that I find to be a scary thing for most game companies.

Aware is one thing but allowing it to continue wrong is another. I used hundreds asmodium and other materials that I was saving up to get these. But, because the system isn’t working right they are wasted.

For next ptr give us a box with craft mods, so we can test properly. And maybe for ptr raise the effect of crafting gear by +1 to a total of +3

Thanks for the update JakeL I wasn’t super worried personally about it because due to the bug I now have a bag that is now a discontinued item that didn’t have mass amounts of people farming it. Personally I think that is far more valuable than any compensation they could have given, although personally I believe they should get rid of those items due to knowing what discontinued items such as those bags would do MMOs in terms of RWT and rare value cost. If you want to inform the devs of my concern to see if they have the same potential concerns.
