Less Storage instead of more?

So, instead of more storage space (I have 4 marble chests). I now have 3400 total space (down from 4450).

Edit: So, after picking up and replacing all 4, I am back to my original storage capacity of 4450.

Also, why do you get -14 decoration score when you place more than 2 Marble Storage Chests?

Not promising when I’m pretty sure I saw ptr patch saying they fixed exactly this issue.

@Luxendra While the storage space issue is the main issue, don’t let them overlook the decor score issue reported, as well.

Every patch day is frustrating.

EDIT: additional info
It seems the first one of the same kind gives you points, the second one does nothing, and the 3rd and 4th give you minus points
So this bug is best seen with 4 of the same kind of chests (in my case, all Polished Marble)

Workaround: Pick up ALL chests in that house and set them back down (not move but completely pick up into inventory). This will not fix the peacocking score issue, however.

Same here i have 4 Cursed Chests that are supposed to give 1050 EACH… and yet i am sitting at 2425… So by getting the Best chests in game i get MUCH less storage space?? Come on AGS WTF.

I Removed All chests from my house and went to the storage shed to look at my Default storage ( including bonuses from territory standing ) and im sitting at 1375.0.

So I SHOULD have 5575 storage space… 1050x4 + 1375 But instead i have a whopping 2425. Someone at AGS cant count!!

I understand the problem and frustration with the storage but who cares about the points? Do you gain anything other than your house being displayed and getting an attaboy?

I fixed it. Just remove the chests and put them back again!

found a kinda fix…At least its worked for me, who knows if it will stay like this if i log out.

So i went into my house, picked up all my chests, left my house, went to the storage shed and noted down the default storage then logged out of game…I waited a few mins for my body to leave the game, then logged back in…I went to my house and placed 1 chest and then checked to see if the bonus had applied…I check after i placed Each chest and the storage now seem to be correct.i am now sitting at 5575.0 who knows if its going to stay like this but i hope it helps some of you.

double storage works.
just pick all the storage chest’s and get out of house
then go in and put them back.
that should work.
