Less than 48 hours from patch.. no patch notes? No confirmation with anything?

Theuve been dropping snippits of info here and there that piece it all together. Ptr has also been up for over a month so there is plenty of info about it in circulation. Hope this helps some?

They waiting for the last second incase something comes up probably. Also the amount of shitposting will be immense.

They turned wars off on the PTR so anything regarding wars, minimum slots for companies, official company cooldowns, and territory management… none of it has been officially confirmed. Two months ago a dev saying ya it might be 35 or 50 we don’t know… is not concrete information. I think patch notes a weekend before the patch isn’t much to ask for. Perhaps they are unsure what they are pushing to update, and what they are waiting on for future updates.

Sure I get that, Damage control… but with this being the main update that resurges New World, you would think they’d be super engaged and doing anything they can to get players to return. That includes official transparency around major changes to the game.

That got changed and confirmes already. Its now 35 slots for wars. Its all already out there in circulation you just gotta find it. I get what youre sayin that they need to do one big announcement but yeah the info is indeed out there already.

Can you link me said info that isn’t a youtuber data mining information? I’d really appreciate it! I seem to be blind!!!

The shitposting will be about weapon balance changes 100%. They already said the major changes, so it will be nitpicking the patchnotes till the patch anyway. War changes were announced after the ptr, so it might be a weekly patch before the fresh start servers if not ready this patch.

Devs don’t work on weekends. Patch notes coming tomorrow, either that or a delay announcement LMAO.

But I’m assuming that if it wasn’t ready they would’ve stated that last week at least.

Yeah patch notes likely in morning. That’s pretty typical to get the day before and then some early morning patch.

It typically is just the PTR Notes squashed together but hopefully we get more details since the PTR notes really seemed to miss a ton of things.

If it’s just the PTR notes they left a lot of things out, and I will be immeasurably disappointed.

I’d assume since this is a large update, with a set date, that they’ll have a large news section post on their website followed by a huge list of changes on the forums.

I’m hoping as well, historically though I think it’s usually been the mash up though but you totally right. We missing a ton of things. War stuff. Territory stuff. I’m also secretly hoping for some spicy reveal as well.

Maybe the worm? Maybe ancient dynamic events? Or whatever will replace corruption portals in BS, EF, and MD?

The arena is there, and in the first version of the PTR, the map showed structures there. Most likely, given what they said in the dev video, it will be included in a future update.

I covered that in one of my posts.

Patch notes usually come out the day before when final patch time is announced.

thank you for linking this, but this isn’t quite a dev response and confirmation… i’m looking for official words from devs or community managers/employees … everything else is just theory crafting … no?

Game broken… GG Go next

ooo a Spicy Reveal I’m down for… throw us a new game mode or something interesting!

There’s a difference between theory crafting and data mining.

Those are the current values we have access to. It very well could be changed when it gets pushed to live or a later update. There is no confirmation. There is only the part in the August Developer Update Video where Dan Henuber (Social Experience) states that there will be a war defense requirement of between 35 and 50 company members. “At least 35, maybe as many as 50”.

Basically, they have put in what they said to be their minimum values in the game and that’s as far as we know. That and the addition of a minimum of 10 company members to attack, which again, we don’t know if and when will be implemented.
