Melee auto tracking is horrible. I have played video games for 30 years I dont need you to give me aim assist on melee attacks.
90% of the time my attacks dont go to the target I want to attack. I get stuck on the invisible respawn points in OPR. I attack pylons. I want to go opposite direction and suddenly I do a 180 degree attack behind me.
Let me turn OFF auto tracking. It’s horrible. I can aim on my own.
Yeah its extremely frustrating. Leaping strike being the biggest culprit. We often use leaping strike for the mobility, to ESCAPE from a group of people and so many times it does a 180 and leaps me back into the clump im trying to get out of.
Another horrible one is ice pylons and clever healers are using it these days to trick the auto tracking of melee by dancing around their pylon so CC wont hit them but hit the pylon instead.
Then leaping or using any other tracking ability on the points in OPR makes me always auto track to the center of the point to the invisible respawn point. The respawn point will always have priority and there is no way to bypass it other than walking way out of its way. No matter if I am actually aiming at the invisible respawn point. Even if I am looking directly away from the respawn point my melee attacks ALL MELEE ATTACKS will auto track to the fucking respawn point when it isnt even built yet. Dogshit coding like usual.
Then if there are any npc’s in the vicinity the npcs will always have priority too. So many times in opr fighting near wolves or the bear/ghost and my abilities ALWAYS track to the damn npcs.
Let us turn off melee auto tracking. Its dogshit. It annoys everyone. And only demented old 90 year olds would ever require auto aim on fucking melee abilities. Whoever thought this was a good idea should get fired.
I also have issues using clear out to, I look at someone in front of me but it turns my guy 90 degrees to my right to hit that person instead, doesn’t make sense cause I’m not looking at them? Guess it just chooses the closest target,
Had another scenario where I cleared someone out and I went to light attack them while they were down, I started the animation and during my animation someone used flèche and whent through me but my character did a full 180 to hit the flèche guy behind me and I missed the kill on my target infront of me
Is there an info of Director Scot achievements in gaming sector thru the years. Considering he is like 70? I would like to see what he was doing and also i want to know what AGS saw in him to hire him and more importantly to keep him.
