Did they removed plaq strikes on mage weapons? You got a link? Mage already feels pretty useless, only oblivion and ice shower is a reason to still play mage…

So plague strikes werent originally suppose to be on any of the ranged weps. However with the tempest update, we got named IG and FS that both had it. Its been very useful since VGs scream got a huuuuuuuge nerf and mages dont currently have a good way to deal with the OP heals.
Just saying FS would be good if burning wasnt able to be removed by a healer or anything that removes a debuff.

Why don’t they just change the burn stack on FS? Instead of dealing 6% weapon damage per stack, max of 5 for 30% weapon damage why don’t they have an exponential stack at the end?
It could be the heal negater and overtime tank killer. So every 5 stacks turns into a stack of 1% max health burn for 5 seconds. Doubles every 5 stacks.
With flamethrower you can apply stacks every half second, it would take 2.5 seconds to cause a 1% max health burn and the original burn is put at 1 stack so you only need 4 more to apply another stack.
2.5 seconds = 1% max health
4.5 seconds = 2% max health
6.5 seconds = 4% max health
8.5 seconds = 8% max health
10.5 seconds = 16% max health
12.5 seconds = 32% max health per second for 5 seconds which should almost gaurantee they die due to doing 160% of their max health over 5 seconds ontop of other damage.
Obviously have a cap in dungeons though for PvE and have it be PvP only.
Insta Healing Spells should only work on another allie and not on yourself… healer should be able to heal themselves with AOE heal and potions and food like the rest of the playerbases
if don’t know then you’re oblivious to why the FS is not fine and has not been fine for nearly 5 months.
If heals is OP get better, thats it. I play heal and i can tell you there are 2 kind of DDS.
A) dds that kill you in a eye blink
B) DDs where you can play 5 vs 1 and nobody is able to cc you.
So what is the difference between those DDS ?

Lol bud I may not be the best pvper but I spank more then I take. No idea what the fuck DDs means. I can tell you with all the dodges and such any competent healer will be able to outlast most if not all damage your able to output. Specially since they took burst from IG.

I wish they would just give us healing reduction abilities… But not for the STR weapons, they are already op enough and good for any scenario. Give it to the dex players and mages so other builds could be competitive too not just monkey brain 300str GA lmb spamming.
Fire has always been a tank burner or a burst weapon in every RPG.
Right now it has neither. It needs changes. Either burst for 10k with super high cooldowns or deal high max health damage if allowed to free cast.
Right now it has neither so plagued strikes being in a weapon brings it into meta. I don’t think the weapon perk changing is the issue, it’s the weapon tree.
One tree should have the passive at the end of the tree do increased damage per stack and let it stack high while the other tree should have the passive I spoke of above.
1 low cd ability, 1 medium CD ability and one high damage very small aoe aimed ability like fireball and increased damage per stack of burn. In essence, rotate low and medium cooldown abilities for consistent low damage, once you stack high enough burns, cast fireball and deal a massive amount of damage because someone let you stack your burn on them.

I honestly think all weapons need redesigned but that’s just me.
I dont think its in a really bad spot personally. However that perk would have helped any down fall the weapon had. Currently FS is a weapon with barely any utility (we have a charge that has no grit and a long start up before you go) and yet (youre right) theres very little burst. Idk why theyd take a perk away that would literally help balance the weapon to deal with healers.
FS is not an alright spot, its a meme weapon that is perma benched on any good war roster.
