Let's talk about how you are going to compensate EU players

Is this what trolling looks like these days? Compensation for server maintenance… Grow up.

Thank you for posting this. About time someone did. They apparently refused to read that portion.

I recently quit playing DC Universe Online and that is a super entitled player base. Very low population game that wants every thing handed to them.

One month subscription fee refunded would be fair compensation I think.

I didn’t even know that game was still running. Just kidding  I still play STO from time to time, but more like a single player game.

I recently came from WOW and retail is just as bad. My favorite time is after expansion launch because it doesn’t take very long for players to start screaming WHEN CAN WE FLY!!!

I play STO, have since launch, its just REALLY hard to stick around if it isnt Summer event or Winter Event.

Why just one month? Give them a full year. I mean, this was a genuine first world problem: not being able to play a video game.

over the top drama deserves over the top rewards … give em two years!

I use to go back to DCUO every 2 years or so, because the game was fun and it has a lot of content. Their recent dlc was rehashed old content and they put out a lot of HIGHLY priced micro transactions. The game has moved to pay to win and the player base has dropped dramatically. Less than 3k active daily players. Its still kicking, but it’s purely for grabbing as much money as they can before it eventually is done in a few years.

They should have started working on a new version of the game, but I doubt they even attempt it at this point.

I never got around to playing that one. The launch trailer was really cool, but I was always playing something else. STO also moved into the PTW direction. I was there at launch when it was a sub game, but it was so buggy and so barebones that I quit after a month and didn’t come back until recently. They did make a lot of great improvements the pasty ten years and I’ve had a lot of fun leveling. But once at endgame, it’s all about buying the best ship. The PTW and lack of consistent content will keep it’s subscriber base low until it shuts down.

T’is fine, next time I expect to see downtime in US prime time and we’ll see how much the US enjoys having their Wars default to defenders and Towns downgraded from Invasions because they couldn’t login for an entire evening. I expect about as much drama as EU players caused, because that shit is honestly down right frustrating.

Yeah that sucks. The Old Republic is one I want to give another try after I’m burnt out on New World. The camera guiding system is weird, but it’s been out for 10 or so years. Should have loads of content.

Really hope this is a troll or joke.

There is no subscription associated with this game and considering the amazing price of 40$

You dont deserve any “compensation”
Get over yourself.

How about be happy when your able to play.

it is, but for the most part you wont see rediculous threads about striking or requesting compensation because we know how to read.

Youll see crying, youll see me laughing all the same. Go through 24 hour+ downtimes (with paid sub mind you) and then come talk, this is nothing but a bump in the road.

Can North America be compensated then for their servers opening later than the EU ones?

Amazon: huh?EU ?we don’t care lol

they WOULD compensate if you were paying for every second you miss! You dont! You bought the game and you dont pay subscription!

This really is the most Karen - “Can I speak to your manager” type of post.
