I just feel that most of the games content is skipped through due to a far too fast paced level progression.

Crafting: There is no sense in crafting low tier stuff (armor/wep/tools) except for increasing you own trade skill. And it is only just craft + salvage and repeat. That was even on server start already the case, since the time you needed to gather and craft, you could have have made 5-10 levels and just find better gear from questing than you could hope to achive with crafting within the same time. Even worse now after 5 weeks.

Expeditions: Except for main story reasons there is no sense in entering an expedtion up to level 60 twice. Since you don’t need anything out of it anymore - because same as crafting, if you just try to get your exp from quests, it is way easier, faster and more rewarding than any expedition. Why even introduce them before 60, wasn’t even worth the time creating them for a one time only experience …
Same goes in a way for weapon levels. Just farm with a group of 60s the 25 or 35 elite areas for a bit, and you get every weapon you desire to 20, without effort, without thinking what to do. My personal preference here would be an upgrade to level 60 or so, and give those skills more passives with more levels. Like giving a skill +5%/+10%/+15% crit when putting 1, 2 or 3 skill points in it. Would give a lot higher variation in skill builds and a meaning to specialize on a preferred weapon.
To sum up, reduce overall exp earned after level 20 (first expedtion) by 1/10th, maybe make a daily limit for board/faction quest with full exp, after that only reduced exp. Try to bring more variation in weapon trees.
Though for existing servers this would make no sense anymore. But with possible server merges on the horizon it would make space for opening new servers with such settings and see how many of the community would take on the low level grinding instead of just repeated elite runs in myrkgard.
