Leveling is painful, quests are disappointing

The more i play the more the lack of variety in quests becomes an issue. Basically every quest is a variation of talk to a guy, kill X dudes , loot X chests. Kill X big dude.

Now i understand that games like these provide limited ways to interact with the world but for some reason in New World the problem seems exaggerated. Perhaps its the fact that you can literally spam the same quest over and over. Or it might be because every PvE area feels the exact same way. A bunch of dudes clumped up with some houses sprinkled most likely copy pasted layout with reskinned houses and chests in the exact same ways.

2 story house ? Go up turn 180 and ull see a dude and a chest if you get lucky you might even get a dude and a chest on the first floor too ! Small shack ? Dude with a chest or a note. Somehow when i visit an area i have never been before i know exactly where to find all the chests /mobs. Which is good for efficiency but its boring.

Starting area towns have copy pasted chunks from different towns which ruins any excitement when visiting a new area.

I know this was a time crunch and a big ask to get this game out after a complete overhaul mid alpha but please don’t make this into a game i have to tell my friends " It gets good after level 50" I beg you please revisit the 1-60 experience with an update and work on the questing system.

Exp gain is all out of whack too. If you focus on crafting/farming you will soon reach a roadblock where you are too underleveld to farm what you need and the speed at which you farm is abysmal because tool lvl req so you go back to focus on leveling. You do afew quests and some story ones but you run out of story/side quests in your area. So you either go to a new area and do side quests there which are pretty much the same or you stick to the town of choice where all your storage and preferred crafting benches are and grind faction quests endlessly.

And after all that you are still underleveld for your main story quest which makes you feel like you are literally stuck and removes any satisfaction from progress.
