6 - 7.5k and nearly 0 cooldown.

but to be fair. we really need a Dps-Meter or an Dmg Chart after Dungeon Ends …

Someone already did like DPS spreadsheet with the new changes and ranged weapons are still pretty low on the list. Rapiers were very very high though

They only tested single target damage.

Pillar spam is probably pretty good on trash mobs if your group can clump them.

feels good, but ye let’s wait for the fortify changes. pretty sure that M10’s will be extremly hard then

Can you not already do pillar spam?

Fortify makes a big difference when trying to play low con melee. It’s a lot harder to hatch if the healer doesn’t Orb of protection/fortifying sacred ground.

I doubt many people want to regrind new PvE gear, so hopefully melee is still fine.

ye but rn pillar does less dmg. ptr does buff it ( 5% per smolder stack ) which we can apply with watch it burn

tbh, i hope not.
melee is way to strong, or magic/ranged way to low in Dungeons.

My GS for Genesis - dealing 14-15k crit heavys…

Meanwhile my Fs does 6 - 8k :roll_eyes:

Ah and you can apply smolder through some heavies as well yes?

heavies/lights, meteor shower,flamethrower, fireball and crits ye

So adding an extra 10% bane weapon damage to ranged didnt fix a damn thing?

Its almost like bandaid fixes are a bad idea.

Especially bandaid fixes that should have been tried 18 months ago.

This is sad and reeks of terrible game balance.

No player should be excluded from running dungeons simply based on the weapons they chose to play with. No where on the retail box copy of the game was there a sticker that said

“IMPORTANT - Not all weapons are viable in game. Your choice of weapon combinations may exclude you from engaging in content with other players. Amazon Game Studios (AGS) will not be held liable if your choice in weapon combinations makes you a mockery to the player community. Choose at your own risk.”

I didn’t think about this. It will be substantially more difficult to run 5-100 con light now. Kinda was reliant on being full warded with fortify from healers.

With the fortify being nothing on light, light users will spend substantially more time on the ground…

Not sure why they can’t balance for pve and pvp separately it’s dumb. I imagine they would have to do is say when target is player do x% damage instead im sure it would be an annoying overhaul but one that’s necessary for the health of the game. Time consuming but jt should be someones priority there
