just curious why wouldn’t it make sense, they have to lift there arm to heal, its not like it requires a lot of movement and they would be much less mobile, were squishing tanks in middle of sacred s now, don’t think it would matter anymore, with all the new burst damage and healing reduction provided to us.
I don’t think a bonus should be given for heavy healers but there shouldn’t be a reduction below normal skill level. There the only class forced into light, its become to easy to hunt them.
im 625 every build, fav is bow, i can blink a healer out of existence, in more then one build. They shouldn’t be so squishy, there tons of games with battle healers, this one pushed healers to be 2 or 3 shots for crappy players lol
But still, healers are for healing, not for dealing dmg output.
Hope one day you guys gonna understand the role healer has, and stop trying to make from new world some kind of sick game for healers. This is riddiculous. You want to dmg? Go be bruiser, whatever.

So let’s get to this straight one more time: HEALERS are NOT for doing dmg. And this is all I said, I do not care about the rest. For me, You can even buff healing power of the healers, I was suggesting this in last year. But every suggestion about healers DOING ANY MORE DMG, it’s broken from the start, and if you can not see it, then you’re wasting my time for explanations.
Imagine, greatsword user, or blunderbuss user gonna suggest on forum, that he is healing himself little too low, cuase you know, dmg output is fine, but I would like to have more healing power. Propoistion like that is the same broken as proposal to healers do any more dmg output.
i put a mil plus damage out on average opr, i said i main bow, really people complaining that healers wanna put armour on don’t understand how damage works in this game. They just don’t want a minus reduction for putting it on. For defence so they can live like anyone else lol but as said they don’t need a buff for more damage, just no reduction, make it fair for them.
so they would still get the lower buff for medium like bruisers, dex or int and the big one for light, like everyone else
If a LS user wants to DPS then they should stat-split and use a DPS weapon as a secondary instead of giving LS back its offensive capabilities from days long past.
Doesn’t make sense for bow or musket to “defend itself with damage” when the only thing that can damage them are bows and muskets, should they play at “range,” A.K.A. 51m to 120m.
Two of the best damage scaling weapons in the game that can do damage in full heavy with 200 CON. Don’t even need 400+ damage stat or a 3-perk BIS weapon to deal damage.
Blunderbuss + Greatsword have access to hard CC (stagger for GS or knockdown for BB) + both have access slows + disease + rend + empowers through skills, passives, and/or skill perks.
Healers need a Focus weapon to pair with Lifestaff right now they basically got no secondary weapon. Rapier is terrible now and void gauntlet not that great with Lifestaff.
