While that’s true it would at least open up the potential to maybe see PVP perks as a 3rd. Imagine Exhaustive Exploitation for instance. Or Plagued Crits.
That’s amazing info, I didn’t know that !

Here’s the note for reference
Imagine if they added a lifestaff perk called ‘cleansing crits’ where you could cleanse all a few debuffs from an ally that you healed after you crit someone with your lifestaff
Then people would potentially even seek getting keen/vicious on their lifestaff
Currently, there is no use to keen/vicious on lifestaff because the damage is a joke, lifestaffs crit chance is only 2% or something like that, and there’s no beneficial perks that require crits
I still think they need to remove this perk

And replace it with a second point under mending touch so you can cleanse 2 debuffs at a time. I honestly think you would see people using it then.
That would be an amazing change! I know I’d select it for sure
Would be great if they added a visual indication when a debuff is cleared from an ally by our lifestaff (that only we can see)
My reasoning is that you will feel more impactful and will be able to tell if/when you’re effectively removing debuffs
Would be great if there was a small glow effect or something
Exhaustive Exploitation the only one that works considering how low the crit is on LS, but ya definitely would be nice to see more offensive utility added in. Greatstaff of the Light’s Judgment will be my go to after patch for a decent 2-perk to pair with my Dark Feast.
Definetily Vicius and Keen’s percentagem should replaced into Blessed and Refreshing Move on Life Staff’s rolls.
Would be nice to see that. You’re already incentivized to get Sacred/Keen Awareness, and Hearty on your rings to maximize light armor w/ VG, might as well roll over the importance of crits onto Life Staff. Could do away with current iterations of underutilized/unreasonable passives like Defensive Light (will blocking update make this worthwhile?), Spirits United, Magnify, Connection, and Balance.
Care to explain this “heal cap”? Or was just a poor word statement? I’m returning, or trying to, after around 1 month and trying to catch up, not trolling with the question, just curious about that “heal cap” you mentioned.

Eternally bad

Mediocre
Solution = delete enchanted and replace it with a second point for mending touch. Now there is a meaningful alternative to Intensify.

Blocking is only for the likes of spear, rapier, sns. If this made your block stamina reduction a bit smaller maybe there would be some value in taking it but as it stands now 6 mana is a joke when we’re pumping mana potions. Mana perks are not useful on Life Staff.

As long as LE is dead, this will be as well.

With the presence of stronger hastes all over the game. This falls short. If it were 20% haste then there would be value in taking it. But as it stands? Naaaah.

More mana perks when mana economy is fine. This perk isn’t useful because people have enough mana to sustain.

Mediocre right now but if it affects Accelerating Light’s Embrace you can in esssence heal someone back to back and maintain a persistent haste buff on them in the next patch. I guess extending orb is cool too. Could do with a buff though.
yeah pretty much all the mana perks need adjustments ![]()
I really with the ultimate perk in the right tree was no attached to lights embrace and instead was its own independent thing
Divine Blessing is hard to out sell. It would be nice if it was reworked into something more generally useful. I dislike when ults are attached to abilities as well. Too one dimensional. Gives no interesting build diversity. VG is an example of ults done right. IG is an example of ults done so so wrong.
So much is wrong with Life Staff talents and perks. I really want to believe it gets fixed but with each patch I’m honestly loosing hope.
What kind of ult do you think lifestaff should have instead? im just curious ofc
this upcoming patch shows theyre not afraid to rework perks so we can only hope ![]()
I don’t have any ideas right now but I did think about that 3% mana regen aura and figure “wouldn’t it be nice if that were fortify instead”.
That is a decent one but would it be 3% more fortify for your group?
I think so yeah.
