Empathy is putting yourself in the others shoes and walking that mile. Sympathy is feeling bad for other people walking that mile.
I put myself in their shoes, and I can honestly say I 100% would not be raging about not being unbanned asap. I would be greatful it was a temporary ban and learn from my mistakes. I wouldn’t go cry victim, acting like its a permanent ban. Its not dude. Just stop. Get some help.
I wish you to live this situation of not knowing and feeling the extension of your ban again and again without explaination…
You just feel superior because you haven’t had the chance to get items for a bargain, and know you just think you’re legitimate to spit on these people because they tried and failed ?
What a wretched life you must have to react like that in a game…

OMG dude I commented about this WAY ealier. They did give explaination, that they haven’t removed all the duped items yet. They are still cleaning up the mess. They messaged that perfectly clear dude. Just stop

But yeah I do feel for them, I do understand they must be punished to a level. Now what I don’t like is the AGS action of expanding the time without reason. They have been punished with 5 or 7 days, now why are they still banned ? Just because they want and they can ? So what’s next ? A CM will come on your server and just decide that all the people with a christmas gear will be banned 3 days, without reason, just because he can ?

Don’t you get they will NEVER be able to clean all the dupe items. It’s too late… So why giving a lame excuse to extend the bans and not just state it clearly : you are definitively out or not.
Yes, that was my point as well - there are still HUNDREDS of duped stones, coats, foods, etc… in the TP. Companies are still handing out free consumables at invasions. The damnable things are everywhere.
There was an explanation… they are banned until all the duped items are removed. The alternative is to keep all trading down for everyone. Pretty simple choice.

That is the same definition he gave of it just using different words… “walking a mile in others shoes” is the same as “imagining what it would like to be in that person’s situation.”
Say for a second you bought a bunch of rabbits at a few bucks lower than normal price
considering there was period of time when the dupes werent widely known.
nothing to see that it was or was not dupped.
you get flagged and banned for over a week.

quite frankly. no its pretty BS. you lost an entire week of cool downs and whatever adventures you and your company was planning.
this is one example.
our consol appears to have finally been unbanned (vindicated) after receiving “reparations” from an asshat WW owning consol/officer after causing massive political drama. before the dupe was widely known or reported
(keyword WW owning company. the company that gets absolute insane money income the company that could potentially have thousands of powerful consumables at the ready for war.)
he certainly didnt feel good about it. our entire company didnt fee good about it.
only the ww company friends felt good about it.
full blow quarantine is not the answer.
its clear the dupers and anyone they touch can be flagged as cheating. quarnteen the individual items that are involved in the dupe would of been a better choice though i have no conifidnece that could be done.
its honestly a shitty situation for everyone.
ether they block the TP again for 2 weeks everyone complains. or they blocked any individuals that POTENTIALLY got involved and ruined the game for those that are innocent which is the lazy way of doing it.
great for the rest of us but moral for the rest of us have been at an all time low anyway.
it wast ideal for anyone so i cant blame AGS for doing it.
i can blame them for being understaffed and unable to do a satisfactory job for how “big” the company might be.

If I knew something was hundreds times more expensive I would think something was off personally but I would probably still buy it. But I’d accept the consequences taking that risk, especially when it’s a TEMP ban, as in temporary

how would you know the difference if it was a cost or slightly under when duper are trying to make max profits before they crash the market.
and try doing it without hindsight.
the duper that sabatoged my company was perma banned.
The real culprits almost all of the got perma banned, most of them probably already bought a 2nd account and working on the next exploit.
These are innocent players who are now stuck in limbo. Don’t punish them like this. They really are trying to push players off their own game.

Doesn’t AGS have a bad habit of banning people who unknowingly buy duped items from the AH due to a shitty and archaic database that doesn’t keep good records of transactions? Note that Lost Ark has a similar bad reputation for allowing people to sell cash shop items on AH then banning anyone who bought those items if a charge back occurs.

The old saying cheaters never prosper, is no longer relevant. As this game has taught everyone to cheat/exploit early and often since launch. Anyone who didnt was left behind.
Also that Bots are ok, just ignore them.
Also that balance can be one mans trash and treasure at the same time.
And finally, the patch notes are just things they remember that potentially were included in the patch.
