Yes. I tested it by replacing my silk robe with heavy starmetal breastplate. Both have identical focus bonus. With breastplate my equip load is medium instead of light, yet I heal for the same amount.
Just did a very scientific test for the good of all healers. (excuse formatting errors, i dont know how to do it neatly)
Life Staff damage rating throughout all testing: 248
Focus number for ALL tests: 86
Divine embraced used on self for all tests, all damage done on lvl 6 bad guys outside monarch bluff.
At light armor: Heal was 542, light attack 347, heavy attack 490.
At medium armor: Heal was 542, light attack 318, heavy attack 449.
At heavy armor: Heal was 542, light attack 289, heavy attack 408.
Please fix this issue.
Does the blessed trait also apply differently than stated? Staff says it increases the healing by 20% but I’m only seeing an increase of 14%
Bump. Please, acknowledge this problem and fix it.
Bump. This is gamebreaking and needs to be resolved.
I tested it, too.
With exactly the same focus point, the healing amount of all armor was the same.
I hope fix this bug quickly.
Glad those cash shop skin problems were fixed i a day. This was reported in the beta.
BUMP. Is AGS doing anything about this|??
Hm… Any updates so far? As issue even not listed into ‘Known Issues’ section
We know… They probably know…
Best thing is, they probably won’t do a balance round on Fire Staff during this, and we’ll have 20% more damage with a double tick of Crit Damage on Fire Pillar. Then the cries will surely be heard throughout the land ^.^
It doesn’t apply to Damage as advertised either, light armor gives you about 3.4% damage bonus not 20%
Please fix this bullshit, i didn’t farm for 520 light gear to have no bonus healing… fix this dumb shit
That’s because it’s a pre-mitigation bonus. So it’s applied before counting in armor and such damage reductors. But I agree, it’s really misleading.
I was just checking this in-game.
All stats the same, I was healing:
Light armor: 3026 - Heavy armor: 2960
The difference of 66 matches the 20% of my weapon damage. So I am guessing the increase is based on weapon damage not overall. Which honestly is not worth the light armor against a set of heavy which provides a lot of extra sustainability imo.
This should be more clear, or even better, make it worthwhile using light armor.
Even tho there is a bonus, it is ridiciolous small. At the moment every healer is running heavy armor, disguisting meta, u cant kill him 1v3 sometimes if he is healing himself!
It creates a huge problem in Wars, because they are standing with tanks in the middle of point and atrackers have no chance of killing them( because of their ridicilous healing and beloved lag at the point).
They should Buff light armor healers a lot more, Because they can’t stand in middle(insta aoed) they are fighting for survival in the back line!
It is not fair that heavy ones Just stand, dont care about anything, healing a lot. And the light ones are sweating SO much not to be killed and only heal 100 more XD.
Nerfing heavy armor healer for sure would improve everyones life at wars and outpost rushes!
I hope amazon will do something about this unbalanced meta.
This is absolutely not what the tool tip describes. Please update the text or fix the bug. I’ve wasted allot of time and effort in light armor only to discover it’s not working as described.
Every choice I make as I build my character is met with bugs I have to work around and equipment I bought that I have to ditch.
Don’t trust the tool tips in this game, most of the time the devs couldn’t get the system to work as intended.
eg. Shockwave from war hammer skill, it is a sleep instead of a stun. If you get attacked ( or any AOE) within that 3 sec of “stun” it will actually break the debuff “stun” on you. aka. Sleep.
