you cant really be serious about this, heavy is underperforming greatly in PvP, i did a lot of duels and as GA WH i cant even touch the light armor in any situation, i just get nuked and the enemy is 100% health. You just make me want to quit the game. This is so unbalanced. Fix this!
duels isnt a good metic for pvp balance.
the primary modes of this game are wars and opr.
20v20 to 50v50
a light armor wont do shit in a ball fight on points which is the primary way of winning the game.
BUT
heavy does need a little bit of love. light just got a baller new perk skriking energy. and can be min maxed with medium pieces
medium didnt get much of anything ether. but can min max
heavy cannot do no such thing so should be getting major buffs to being ALL heavy (should be a weight threshold line past heavy for true heavy that gives some bonuses. the straight armor protection is great but thats about it)
Heavy got more love than it should. It has a more seamless dodge than Medium.
Medium needs to have the hard stop removed like the other two armor classes. That or we reintroduce it back to Light and Heavy.
Heavy armor gives you a 50% more effective health poll compared to light armor and 11-14% less damage than light armor. Itâs fine for the most part. Heavy armor probably does too much damage for the amount of protection it provides.
Wear heavy when you want to PvE. Where light or medium when you want to pvp.
It might sound crazy but the medium armor dash should be the heavy armor dash and the medium one something between the light and medium dash.
Light armor is broken because of the roll. Heavy armor is just pointless with the amount of damage in the game. They need to increase the damage mitigation
This is a prime example of players lack of understanding of balance.
The damage bonus on light is meaningless if you take into consideration that light armor does no damage. The 12% Addative buff that comes from Light is very minimal, and does not make up for the x3 survival rates of heavy, Yes, its 3 times, not 50% more.
Heavy armor should not provide as much protection natively that it does. I believe the following changes should be made
- increase light armor base armor values to 1100-1200
- increase medium armor values to 1400-1500
- reduce heavy armor values to 1700-1800
- Rework âreinforced armor perkâ from + Durability to + armor value 2-4%.
- Reduce +20% armor perk in con to +10%
The reasoning to this is
- Light armor is still providing to little armor for pve and pvp content
- Medium armor needs a slight adjustment to help distance it from light to keep the armor distinctive in its gameplay experience, as well as provide more incentive for heavy dps to swap to medium
- Heavy armor provides to much protection for melee damage
- Allowing for most of the armor loss to be recovered via + armor perks, will enable the tank to stay relatively the same, with some âeffortâ. This way tanks are not really impacted to much (-300 armor) from this change.
Heavy doesnât do any damage, go to a test dummy and hit it with heavy gear then remove all your gear and hit it naked youâll do the same damage without the extra attributes.

Light armor is something like 747, I want to increase the values of armor to (maybe min 900) 1000-1100 or something around that level
you forgot to factor light roll has longer i-frames and distance while heavy armor basically has no mobility ![]()
what are you talking about? Heavy got love? hahahahaha Then why everyone in OPR and open world pvp is running light and medium? Even in wars ppl now go with medium and light⌠Heavy sucks its only good for PvE and it needs a major buff or just overhaul the armor system cause this one is very unbalanced and i just doesnt work.
I personally think all armors should have roll, its just a better gameplay experience.
