Been running DE but in testing LE I feel you may have more healing potential as well as survivability. You get a faster cast time as well as a stam boost, both which help you stay alive. Need to test more in OPR but so far I have 1 million healing in OPR with LE and yet to reach that with DE, of course OPR is not really a perfect place to test but it’s something.
Thoughts?
LE requires like 4 buffs to even begin to overcome DE. With the amount of DE healers running around, the chances of someone outside of your party having the two auras on them now is pretty low actually cause they’re not valuable for DE. It has the same exact cast time of 1s. It’s generally weaker, refreshing divine embrace kicks in it’s lower CD than LE, LE doesn’t chain. Stam boost is niche and only useful in specific circumstances. Doesn’t generally compare to big dick chain heals. Healing numbers can be deceiving in general. If 15 melee sit on point and you’re allowed freecast onto them all game while they take chip AOE damage you’ll probably do 2-3 million healing. But that’s an ideal world. Are you a worse healer for helping your back cappers sustain pressure on that map and coming out with less heals? Certainly not. That said, I’ve had a few games by this stage with 1.5 million or there abouts running DE/SG/Orb. could be even higher with beacon perhaps.
You can cast LE more times due to cool down, hit a player with LE then again faster then DE right?
LE has about a 1 second shorter cooldown than DE, like 3 seconds (LE) versus 4 seconds (DE), when you have refreshing perks.
It’s inconsistent when it procs but it does. A fix is also on the way.
Yip, DE perks is busted. But when it works it will be better than LE.
