Link all Banks and make fast travel free

That’s primarily because of all the unflagged players, the concept of territory holds and resource protection got ruined when they made open world pvp a flagging system. There are many remnants of the old system still in place.

Yeah but that was scrapped back in alpha when they realised that only 5% of the playerbase would play the game if it was full pvp.

I fully support having full pvp servers as its a win win for the most part but i know that amazon has stated that they aren’t looking to do it.

The pvp servers would be great for the first week or two until one faction inevitably becomes dominant as some players are just better than others and/or know the latest exploit, and the people who want full pvp but aren’t in that top tier would eventually stop playing because of it, which would cause the winners to have nobody to pvp with

Or just remove Open World PvP and move the missions to instances.

Open World PvP has no place in New World. Move it to organized gameplay instead of surprise zergs.

Actually its less than 1%. Go look at a game called “Mortal 2” open world pvp, looks alot like New World, except it has a player base of under 300 people; New World is what, 168,000 right now. If the game were pvp only then the remaining 1000 players would be all thats left.

The Azoth cost to travel should have a hard cap of 300, it would be fair.

I would like to see a larger bank accessible from any town. That way I can craft where it makes the most sense based on where companies have invested their money developing stations. That could potentially solve for the Azoth travel shindig without altering it too much. I appreciate an azoth cost with traveling cause it makes me be more tactical with my planning and encourages me to participate in invasions and portal runs. I do think that that the additional azoth cost for areas your company doesn’t own needs to be re-tuned. Right now, yellow owns most everything and it really hampers my ability to experience the game if I have to run everywhere.

they did say that they were looking into ways to make it more enticing for people to join the losing factions, hopefully getting rid of the extra azoth cost will be part of it, especially as it makes no sense that the magic juice cares what colour we are

Dont make fast travel free. Leave azoth for crafting and make fast travel to pay with gold for resonable fees

make fast travel free like every other reasonable game out there, cause remember its a game, where you are meant to do things and have fun, not just run everywhere. having to think about conserving azoth for travel isnt anything that makes the game difficult or fun, its just making you ask yourself if you want to be tediously bored now or tediously bored later when you are running

i am over 500 hours deep in now , all the bugs and bs aside , game is truly becoming just a chore ,
whatever i want to do i need something else to do it , get azoth to travel , by doing events such as wars , invasions , or opr , well server is dead , none of those things are going on really . i like the game but its just bad systems on top of each other .

Linking the market was bad enough. Linking the banks will ONLY result in people never going to certain towns.

and NW has lost 90% of their player base and counting

And this plays nothing like NW doesn’t even look like it at all

we do need more storage space ,and banks linked . but you are also right some zones would be dead , thats why i say , some of this systems are just bad at the core .

I feel like they are incredibly naive to really think players at 200+ hours are really just randomly running around the map in awe of the surroundings. Players are probably appreciating the surroundings while out doing a task like gathering/questing but that’s about it.

They also seem to have this weird obsession with “immersion”, immersion is whatever the player decides is immersive and the devs can’t force that into people. At that point its someone else telling them what they need to be immersed and that goes as well as telling someone what they need to be doing instead of X thing.

Minimaps and other similar QOL enhances immersion for some and not for others. I think the devs need to utilize toggle options for people that want a bare UI and accommodate people that want all the micro information the game offers and facilitate min/maxing of time. Unfortunately I don’t think any of that will happen or it will happen when the player base hits an extreme low that it doesn’t matter anymore.

Lastly, for players arguing with other players about QOL changes ect don’t realize mmorpgs need to hit a critical mass of players to sustain itself with the devs tinkering in the background without a major time line. This game HAS NOT hit that level and it seems fine for some but that’s temporary gains and temporary gains don’t generate revenue frequently enough to sustain a business long term.

nope I didn’t play alpha nor do i gank lowbies but nice try

I’m in the category of when i have my mind on something in game i dont care about the landscape, i dont care about the trees or the ambient noise, but most of all, i REALLY dont care about their beautifully designed wolves and boars that travel slightly faster than my autorun speed meaning i need to get off my phone and actually dodge.

PLEASE go play that game. Yeah yeah, Mortal Online’s going to be amazing, awesome! Please, ALL Open World PvP players, get off NW and go play Mortal Online!

K bye, thanks!

All right, now that they’re gone, lets get back to organized PvP and PvE content! Thank god for Mortal Online!!!

Oddly enough with all the open PvP games they won’t go play those games because they are bad games or doing very poorly by modern standards. The follow games still have servers up

Ultima online
Albion
Mortal Online
Dark age of Camelot

So I have no idea why they wouldn’t play a game that’s the holy grial standard for what they want.

I don’t think new world is the answer but only time will tell on the direction of the game.

Eve, as well.

New World seems to be appealing to the PvE player that wants to do PvP occasionally. If a player takes PvP too seriously, this dev team is not the right one for them.

If you’re having troubles with Azoth, you’re clearly not even trying to play the game. There are many sources of azoth in the game. Winning Outpost rush gives 200 azoth right off the bat. Gathering tools and killing monsters can get you alot of azoth when you are grinding for your gear. Doing portals for a few minutes can get you hundreds of azoth. You can even buy vials for azoth.

I suggest you stop crying and actually play the game.
