Considering you’ve listed a mere eight items with which they’ve failed to deal since launch, I feel like adding anything more will cause them some sort of fatal conniption and they’ll spontaneously combust.

Let’s see if they can deal with this many problems before we bring up more.

I can honestly go into an exhaustive wall of text on crafting, or just ask why the fuck they think crafting 10,000 gloves is good progression.

Why they didn’t just start with first time crafting bonuses is beyond me.

Man crafting is such a treasure trove of complaints for me.

You nailed it there. Think about it this way. We literally craft 10’s of thousands of gloves to level crafting. Out of those a whopping ZERO are worthy of use or sale. Like seriously who on earth would even dream up a game system like that. It’s mind boggling.

And then add to that the availability of gathering nodes to collect the mats for those thousands of gloves. Good gawd what were these people thinking!?!

The part that bakes my potato isn’t the 10k gloves ironically. It’s that I’m basically going BRRRR to max level for gear crafting, and benchmarking off bags/tools for LW/ENG because literally nothing else will be usable by the time I can make it unless I exclusively craft. Any amount of gathering usually entails some killing, which is already two sources of XP but then every level gained crafting is a surge of XP too, so by the time I had the ability to craft that first unique Life Staff, I was already leagues ahead of it stat-wise (I seem to remember a good deal of the craft list not really being optimised-- foc/dex popped up a few good times). I wasn’t leveling super hard; I’d basically go do a circuit of ingredients, come back and refine them, then craft them into items where I could for some gear levels, and just that was basically powerleveling my way through progression way faster than I could ever hope to craft things. This is excluding that most of those ‘unique’ items take some rare drops, most of which I only pulled enough of even further out from those items’ level ranges. It was just wild; not only did I never even get the opportunity to craft the staff, but at no point was it really an upgrade worth the rare ingredient. I’d be better selling the rare ingredient to huck someone out of their money, then just using that money to further grind my craft level(s) up.

What’s the point of all the progression of crafting if the only thing I ever use is select endgame recipes anyway? I managed to craft myself boots once, but only because I was switching armor types and it was the last piece I hadn’t managed to replace.

The joke is that yeah, without a vendor to offload the gloves on you just dismantle them all over again and basically recycle and re-craft the same gloves for levels. What were they thinking?
