What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Goto trading post → choose My Orders → Change the order by Time
Highly suspect the order by Time only check on first character of the item remaining time, is a simple but obvious bug.
And a little suggestion, allow user to choose/filter which column to be display. Add on some other column such as location, order is sold out OR expired, the order is cancel by user, etc.
