Sry about that but mine error 50,you can also try moving the folder maybe found something.
Soooo after the message changed to “I have been banned for cheating”, the ban is now released. But the Error Message “Login Blocked” is still there. I will try now to re-install the game.

Selbst nach einer kompletten Formation des PCs - gleiche Fehlermeldung. NOCH geiler: Ich habe vorhin dazu ein Supportticket aufgemacht und der CS wollte sich das anschauen. Plötzlich bekam ich die Mail, dass ich permanent gebannt bleibe. Da ich hier noch im Forum schreiben kann, bin ich nicht gebannt. Sind dort nur Callcenter Clowns am start?
The same thing happened to my fiancé with his account. He took days off of work to play and got this ‘bug’ and 2 days later was banned and is unable to respond to the forums now. His response after repealing was:

He is upset because he can no longer chat because of what moderators called a ‘bug’ and it has definitely silenced the group as anyone that goes through the timeframes can easily see from the dates from scrolling down that all members who received this bug eventually received a ban. Further, this upsets me since I know he did not cheat as he spent way too much time in the game. I only bought this game to play with him so this ruins it for both of us.
Additionally, this code of conduct has nothing to do with cheating. They have 3. Play Fair which at least would have made more sense with the bug but clearly shows they must not fully research appeals.

I’m having this issue with the game not responding after 5 minutes online and then this message about suspicious software… which software should I disable to play it? Is it discord? Edge? Razer software? I play the game the same way, the same PC since launch, and only now having this issue.
I tryed to open a web ticket, but I can’t link my steam account, I’m stuck in a loop from steam web page back to amazon page asking me to link the accounts… now I can’t play the game and I can’t ask for support, What should I do now to be able to play the game?
After a week and 150mb update There is nothing change.Good job dev team.
The update did not fix this for me as well. Bummer. Hopefully they get this resolved soon. I haven’t been able to play in over 2 weeks now.
It started to happen to me after this patch, since nothing had changed it started to give me the error message and every 5 minutes I have to check the files to fix it.

yup. and like every other game, they can revoke your purchases. Its just easier with a non-subscription based service.
If it was purchased within the last 30 days…he can try for a refund, but that wont happen if he bought it from steam. its flagged as banned and they’ll close his steam account for it.
For those following, I was working with Amazon first level support and got an explanation of what Reason 44 is, she said that it means that EAC needs to be reinstalled. Which doesnt make a lot of sense in my case as I just did a clean reinstall of the game through steam.
did you possibly have EAC before New World? A LOT of games use EAC
I am thinking about that customer service is useless and uninformed about this game.When i contacted with cs first time they told me that we will communicate with you for the solution about this issue in 24-48 hours but nobody did not contact with me about this.After 3 days, I contacted again with cs and it told me that you sould reinstall EAC and i did it but nothing has changed.Lastly, when i talk with cs they wanted invoice of the game from me .WHAT???If i did not prove that i have new world with invoice they can not asist you about this.Yes they told this.lol I said okey good by new world and delete the game.I will never try amazon games.Everybody was trust you because you are AMAZON!!!

I have been having freezes and sometimes get disconnected and this error message.
I also noticed that my ping connecting to the servers has raised a lot – its strange since my ping connecting everywhere else remains the same
Has anyone been able to start playing again? If so, what worked for you? I have 2 tickets in with the amazon support team, 1 is over a week old with no reponse yet. This issue started after the 1st update for me. Hopfully we get some answers soon.
I still think the worst thing is all the players that received bans from this because they can’t even discuss in the forums from this ‘bug’ and the appeals system has not unbanned anyone on reddit or steam with the same issue.
