It says Login unavailable: World under maintenance even though friends are playing

It randomly kicked me and a couple of friends out of the server and everyone started getting this error
Server hamsters are on fire right now, due to all the US people cramming into the EU servers to get first dibs on usernames.

This just happened to me. Can’t log back in. Please fix.
Atvatabar is experiencing the same issue. I cannot login as it says the world in under maintenance, the server status page says under maintenance, the view world says the population is medium, and my friend is still on the server playing…
WTH is going on?!?!
Also, why is Atvatabar the ONLY US East server under maintenance??

No idea there has been zero word from Amazon on this. I’ve tweeted them on Twitter to no avail.
