In my excitement over the new armor sets in the shop… I failed to notice the absolutely JARRING clipping of my character’s beard through the helmet. This is likely because in game it was night time, and thus the lighting was drastically different. However you can see the issue:
Is there a way I can redesign the character? This would be preferred (as I love the armor set).
Otherwise, I think a refund is warranted, since it doesn’t actually conform to the character properly. I 100% wouldn’t have purchased the armor if I realized this issue. Sorry… but it’s just not right lol.
Oh okay! I wasn’t sure if it was a bug, I assumed it was just an oversight.
So now what? Do I just wait and hope for them to fix the issue like 6 months down the road?
If it is infact a bug, it’s likely not a very important one… given it’s entirely not game breaking.
However it is currently affecting me. I hope that counts for something.

Right? Because generally when you preview these sets, they focus the camera on the front. And maybe like me you were viewing it during nighttime lighting.
Demotivating to hear they never did anything for you.
They should at the very least just add in a barber or something. It’s not a wild thing to think of having a barber NPC within the game world. It’s not out of theme. I mean most of the male beards and what not look very clean and kempt, which would likely justify there being a barber in the world keeping all the gents looking dapper.
Iunno… I’d drop $10 right now to have an appearance change including gender.
Or at the very least they could just refund us… admit they understand why we feel wronged, and then you and I could shout to the world how great the customer care was. Customer care should be your first and foremost shining light as advertisement for the game.
It would comfort others coming to the game to hear of stories where customer service was really understanding and forgiving to their customer base.
Like I understand that clipping happens, but usually devs in other games will design little work arounds, like altering your hairstyle with said items equipped, or hiding facial hair etc.
At very least level with me that we both understand each side, and please the customer so they go forward pleasant about the experience, and push the devs to fix small issues like this so customers don’t HAVE to be pleased in the future for such cases.
I also hate this notion that it’s such a small problem so it doesn’t matter. I don’t live my life as if I am the entire world. My life presents itself to me most of the time in ways that are personal to my own experience. It’s fair for me to be annoyed about this situation regardless of how it affects the majority.
Yeah I’m gonna bump this till someone helps me or deletes the post. Though deleting it will really send a terrible message about you guys if we are being completely honest with ourselves.
