Where do you have that exact number from?
I guess that also means 600gs bag > 599gs bag with luck (and also any other attribute) even if both items say "2,8%, right?
similar to the Devs response in this thread i havn’t bothered playing since it was opened and lack of ANY actual reply i think its time to claim the HD space back… was fun for a bit and had potential
ya we’ve been waiting for a response to a bunch of questions in another luck thread started by bandi. We were promised we would have more information but haven’t heard from @Wyvernn in a week. I think they are going silent. Its a shame, really good game but stuff like this just pushes too many people away. The devs can update us on “typos” in a thread and apologize for the typos but cant give us answers to real questions and problems. Constantly just passing the buck. It is what it is and what it is, is a damn shame.
I think its not as simple. There are ranges on items and u have to hit range to get given item. I think if u stack up to much luck u ofter overoll trophy mats. Just theory.
2 weeks and 2 shattered runs a day 11 stockpiles and 2 kills on the pitlord. 154 chests 28 pitlords… zero trophy mats, zero crests. got 1 booty chest… great.
But there are gaps lets say between from 88000 to 90000 Roll moments so Luck doesnt impfluence occurence to roll a chance into this gap. Because you rng with luck is 4000 to 104000 and to land into the 88000 Range is still the same as to land into the 90000 range. But i agree its somewhat bugged,
i feel like the “explained” what its intended to do is different from how it acts in the game. As a player of NW for over 1000 hours it seams like that LUCK doesn’t work…
when we put on more luck gear and see less drops overall… it feels broken and bugged, luck “drops off” after 2 hours of playing after putting your gathering gear on and reequipping gear/replacing trophies/take off gather tools and putting them back on refreshes the calculations or something and it works again it seams as a player this a method i use to ensure i get the most value out of wearing luck gear items…
in FULL luck gather gear + Troph + food, rarely get gems from mines ect… take off the gather gear flip pvp flag on, get gems coming out both ears …
luck HURTS your ability to get “blue crafting armor” drops if you stack max luck to farm pieces… full luck people in a group get zero blues, its purple or greens, and those without luck get green/blue loot and they get the crafting armor pieces to drop more often then those with full luck, like you talk to about “raising the bar for RNG to enable higher drops” but it seams like luck hurts the farmer looking for blue items specifically …
this is how the luck system feels as a long time player, the sweet spot for what you want and how recently you put on gear helps you get specific loot your looking for, the code might be right how it works but a over site on disabling blue items in drop pool might be a over site ?? or the code not refreshing and stopping the Luck system affecting rolls after about 2 hours of play, you might wanna add a debug line in there to refresh the luck system every so often …
