- Describe the issue you are experiencing: Yesterday I was invited to a war in progress while I was participating in the Maudelin event festivities. When I arrived in the war I had no mouse control or camera rotate ability. I was locked into a diagonal left character view and had to strafe around. Dying in war to respawn did not fix the issue. I had to talk to the Maudelin NPC after the war to unlock my fixed camera that was bugged to regain character control.
Today while fishing and playing a Twitch stream in the background my mouse and cursor control disappeared entirely and lost control of my computer. Even when trying to close the New World application to get control of my computer I had to do so through keyboard commands only. Lost mouse control on desktop and back ground applications until I restarted my pc even with New World’s application closed.
I did not have these issues before this patch except when running faction missions occasionally the Faction NPC’s would force your character camera to be locked on. You would have to talk to the faction NPC to unlock character control again.
There seems to be odd mouse/cursor control takeover happening this patch that need to be hotfixed.

- (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: Loss of character control, loss of mouse/cursor control inside game application and on desktop even after game application was closed. Had to restart pc to regain computer control.
- (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: After shutting down game and restarting pc, yes.
- (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced: Unable to do so as I wasn’t recording and lost control of mouse.
- What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Play the game and interact with NPC’s, loading into war while doing event actions in the area, fishing, while running background applications while playing NW in full-screen.
