Lost ability to fast travel

Post 1/12/2022 patch I have lost the ability to fast travel to some outposts. I have storage in these outposts. it now requires me to revist.

I am sorry to hear that you’re unable to fast travel to some outposts.

I would request you run a Steam file integrity check as the first thing and then see if it works. It should resolve the problem.

Just to confirm that I understood the issue completely, the game is asking you to Visit the outpost first in order to fast travel, right?

Also, have you tried visiting the nearest settlement or shrine and then cover the distance on foot to check if the fast travel unlocks?

Yes the game asks you to visit the outpost. This has happened before. It has happened to other people as well. I am reporting it to be a squeaky wheel so that it will get patched.

When you walk to the outpost or shrine it unlocks as if for the first time until the next patch.

If it has happened before, I would request you to contact customer support so they can raise a separate ticket to the developers for your issue.

Be sure to have your game logs ready in case they ask for them:

Instructions for finding the in-game logs:

  1. Press Windows+R on the keyboard, type %appdata% and press enter.
  2. Open the most recent file from this folder: /AppData/local/AGS/LogBackups.
  3. Paste the contents of the file into your message

Instructions for generating a DXdiag (System logs) : Open and run DxDiag.exe

Once developers receive the logs for your particular account, they’ll surely be able to fix this as soon as possible.

If you search this forum you can see multiple posts about it. This should already be a documented bug.

Yes I’ve researched, however raising individual tickets help us even more to get to the root cause and hence resolve the issue as soon as we could.
