I have been running New World on 2560x1080 with medium textures on my GTX780 since I started playing 2 weeks ago and the Graphics have been okay. Today when I logged in after patch my visuals are horrible. Aliasing and visible pixels stacking in vertical lines, poor/mushy/fuzzy textures and a vague strobe effect. I have checked refresh rates in monitor hard settings, in windows and in Nvidia settings. I have checked game file integrity. I have adjusted in game visual settings. I have even dumped my up to date drivers and reloaded gforce experience in desperation but nothing has fixed the issue
same here… everything was fine until i changed some graphic settings 5min ago… i changed it back to what i had before and everything is pixalated…
it looks like post processing setting has no effect… before i saw a difference if i changed it from high to low, now it does nothing…
before, the image looked super smooth on high…
i would say something is wrong with the post processing setting…
I fixed it on my machine. i think it is an interaction between dynamic scaling and Steam. When Steam starts and pauses downloads for other games scaling seems to think it is still using the bandwidth and scales down the graphics. try turning off dynamic resolution scaling.
i had this always off… and for me the image looks 100% different then before… the graphic settings are broken atm…
if u try:
graphic quality (the overall quality) on low, look at the image, and then put it on high (not very high) and turn down every setting manualy on low… should be looking to 100% like before… but it does not…
the overall quality has settings included which are not listed below like TAA quality or something…
for me the best atm is overall on medium or high and then turn down everything else to low…
if i set overall to very high and then turn down to low, the image look even worse then medium/high and everything else to low…
besides that…post processing has 0 effect… low/medium/high/very high changes nothing…
