Lost hours of progress due to family share being disabled

Hi,

One of my family members purchased New World and I was family sharing with him. I put quite a few hours into the game. I lost those hours once Family Share was disabled. I believe a list of players for legitimate family share players was compiled and granted keys. One of my friends received a key. I have not been given my complementary key and I have lost my game progress as I have had this on a family shared account. I have been through various levels of support and now I have been told to come and post here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’m really sorrry for this problem with family sharing and not being able to use the content as expected. Please let me know through what steps you went with our support?

I do apologize for the delay, please let me know as well your character name and server to check what can be done in this case.

They asked me to get in touch with Steam, which I did, and Steam said that they couldn’t do anything as they didnt stop the library sharing. I have been back and forth through emails and amazons webchat, I have provided my steam ID, the server I was on, my character name. They all come back and say there is nothing that can be done

@Legumi Thank you for your help. I am aware that a list was compiled of legitimate family share players and they were all given keys, it seems like a lot of players were left of this list.

Unfortunately as of now we do not have any resource or info regarding adding more players to this list. Lets keep checking our #official-news for more information.
