Lost item during storage shed transfer

I recently transfered 5 items (stonecutting set) in quick succession from my inventory to my storage. There was a bit of server lag when I did this. All items were salvage locked and when I went back a few minutes later I noticed I was missing my stonecutter shirt. There was no bag ever on the ground. The item simply disappeared. It is quite expensive on my server. What am I supposed to do?

Have you tried disconnecting and reconnecting again?

The item could still be in your inventory but visually glitched due to this lag

If that doesn’t help, let me know so i can escalate this further

Be sure to have your game logs ready in case they ask for them:

  • Provide 3 logs from: Users\AppData\Local\AGS\New World\LogBackups
  • DxDiag report: Go to Windows Start search bar and type dxdiag. Click on dxdiag.exe. When green progress bar goes away, select Save All Information and save the file to their desktop.

It is not possible. I had the entire outfit locked. I searched all inventories, ground, houses, stashes. Nothing. I did not leave the area either. After looking everywhere I relogged to see if it was visual. It was not. This is the 2nd time this has happened in the past two weeks.
