I cant tell if my computer is shit or if the game is just bad becuase. i can run most games fine but new world just doesn’t do well.

Whats Low end PC Performance as of today?

I can run New World on an ancient PC (i7 920, 12GB DDR3, Radeon RX580 4GB) @1440p with 45-55 fps openworld and around 35-40 fps in Dungeons.

War is the only thing i cant really do because of 100 Player fighting over a single Point, makes granpas rig drop to 15-20fps.

From that Point of View, i consider New World fairly good optimised for old/ancient Hardware and still looking good.

What are your system specs? Maybe i can give some advice to increase Performance.

Do u think this is a good performance 35-40 FPS?
Try to play OPR and tell me about it.

the big thing from what I can tell is VRAM…you need a 4GB video card or things go downhill really fast.

I think this is an acceptable performance for an 14 years old CPU and an 6 years old mid-segment GPU @ 1440p medium details, a performance most actual low end gaming PCs probably can deliver at around 500-600 bucks.

Yeah thats something i witnessed too, New World seems to really like a good amount of RAM and VRAM. RAM/VRAM speed seem to have a fairly big impact on perceived gameplay smoothness too.

Im usually under 60 fps, or even when the counter shows 75-80+ its still feels like 40fps, and Im using a kinda old pc, i5-7600k, rx590 8gb, 16gb ram. After each patch my fps going down a little, its getting nearly the unplayable category for me. Wars were already unplayable for like 5-6 months now.

For ppl having issues with big fps drops on OPR/wars and so on - its CPU.
I switched from ryzen 2700x to ryzen 5800x3d and it doubled the fps i have on OPR and such.

Out of curiosity, what kind of FPS were you getting and are getting now? 2700x isn’t super old and not much difference in power than my ryzen 5 3600. I get a pretty solid 60 fps @ 2560 x 1080.

With low settings on OPR i was 100 fps with drops to 45 fps.
Now im 150+ and rops are to like 80fps on hight settings.

Im playing 1080p on rtx 3060 ti.

I’m running a high-end PC and the stutters still bother me. I hate any form of stuttering though so even though it’s not TERRIBLE, I hate it lol.

1440p Res/monitor w/ Gsync
3080 GPU
5900x CPU
32gb 3600mhz RAM

Running with Low shadows and all other graphics set at High and the game still rubberbands like crap.

some more options would be nice, even if not just low end pc related, i just want to turn down some of the rediculous grass and bushes… they currently flash on and off the screen alot anyway.

What about stutters? I have a 10900k and a 3080 and play at 1440p capped at 90 fps, and, yes, I get drops under 60, but I was wondering if the 5800x3d fixed stutters for you, because I was doing PvP quests in Great Cleave today with a lot of other people and, especially at the first asset location, the stutters were unreal, like half a second freeze every couple of seconds, which I hadn’t seen before in the game.

I don’t mind fps drops, but like HeartBreaker said, I don’t like stutters. I keep reading this 3D V-Cache helps with games with bad optimization a lot, or MMOS, but they talk about WoW or FFXIV. Did the 5800x3d fix them for you, or at least improved them (in New World)?

Nope. Stutters are back with last patch.
