Every single problem this game has all boils down to lumberyard and Amazons obsession with it. They should have just used unreal and been done with it.

Lumberyard accounts for 50% of the problems in New World. The other 50% is terrible decision-making.

as a game designer i think amazon really did make a big mess of this situation by taking on cyro. not many experts around to hire or defer to that speak english or are able to be employed to work on it.
More importantly its been a problematic engine for a while. They should just pull the plug on it and develop a new engine in house.
Im pretty sure they wont do that though. IT was a good option for fast and cheap development, on that will make them pay in the long run.
