Mage PVP nerf went too far?

I mean what’s the logic behind removing an entire mechanic off a spell which most of the mage gear / build is based on? I understand things needs tuning / nerfing, a nerf to the damage of fireball would’ve been okay, but removing the crit? This 100% killed fire mage in PVP and greatly lowered it’s value in pve…

What am I supposed to build toward? pillar/flamethrower/meteor shower/incinerate are not usable spells in PVP. Guess I’ll just basic attack all day since my fireball does less damage than a heavy attack… wth

I would suggest either switching to another weapon or quitting the game like I did. But thanks for the post, Now I know I have no reason to come back.

if you are a pvper albion online is mechanically 100x better than this game. The combat isnt as good but everything else is much better.
