ye just pissed by all the crying in the forum… it is true fs is easier now. dont get me wrong, but we didnt had anything for last 1 year +… Mutations ? Ppl laughed at me and said this isnt a clown show

War ? Hell no, nobody wanted any Fs in a War.
In Opr it is only Op, cuz u have such small fort’s where u only have 2 entering areas, which get completly closed by 2 ig’s ( max 7 seconds ) and ppl can sit on top spam all their ability’s.
yet on dmg, ig is aoe stat padding, ice spikes are 80% rng to hit ( 3 hits+ ) u cant stack ice storm by the way, the cancle eachother.
ice shower root is, as said 1 second, u can’t even charge a heavy attack in that time ( to get another freeze of ) and even if, u can DODGE while being rooted ?? Legit the first game ever, where u can dodge, when rooted ( for me )
and all of this cuz people wanted ig to be bad

I mean that’s the war meta now. Melee players don’t kill range anymore. Melee players play tank builds and push the range and pray that their range can get a kill. I guess that’s peak balance for the range players; melee players either being their meat shields or on the other side of the coin never a real threat by themselves.
Yup, FS was left out of most endgame content, OPR was playable and in 3v3 it was pretty good, so the buff was good and needed.
Meanwhile, IG was always controversial, back when when the game launched, ice storm could stack, same as sacred grounds, etc. But ice shower was crap because you could dodge through (you could also dodge the dots from any AoE back then). After that, it was how easy it was to hit spike, specially when VG came out. Then the IG spam from bruisers, etc. IG was most always meta and it still is, it is a very strong CC weapon after all. It’s very good for kiting, and with the changes in FS it makes it possible to kill any average melee player in a single rotation.
All in all, I think we can agree that meta, although slowly, will always shift (and I think that’s healthy) and that people will always complain, one has to just not care and enjoy the game as you see fit, after all you paid for it and are still here. As @Malva said, we just have to adapt. Cheers!

ye, as i said, they use meteor shower stapadding and missed all icespikes.
Meteor Shower isn’t just for stat padding with the bugged perk still giving 10 empower for free. But yeah they were bad.
what is bugged, it stacks per hit. as the perk says
it doesn’t refresh with watch it burn either ( as it did last summer )
i d consider any mage use meteor shower is bad or trolling as FB/POF/burnout are so good compare to it.
the only problem with FS imho is the skill spam, make mana a thing so that the weapon cant just spam massive aoe damage then do IG escape and start spamming again. The damage and hitbox are both fine if they actually have to use their skills at the best time instead of just spamming them off cooldown.

No that bug is back as of the FS buffs.
nope. doesnt refresh, it stacks per hit of the meteor shower.
stacks go down, after meteor shower ends ( and the target still burns )
last year, if a target was still burning the 10 stacks, got refreshed over and over, till the burn ended
There was a video posted here recently showing with and without watch it burn and showing how the bug is back. It might not linger after the burn but it is stacking with it.

OP is 310 con heavy with aversion and almost dies from heavy attacks to 2 noobs likely in shop gear playing the weapon for the first time… doesn’t really show anything
also its in OPR, there are all kinds of buffs and players of all skill and gear levels in OPR its a bad place to get balancing evidence from.
where do you think is the best place to evaluate balance? 1v1?
i quit bow since they buff 6 months ago, that was abuse, i was killing heavys whit 1 heavy attack and i never play range again. I dont like op weapons or cheating.
