Mages are OP and here is why (Oh sorry, wrong game)

Void blade has a major lunge but a very de-sync’d tracking. It’s bad, it’s always been bad. Not the same with weapons like Gaxe/Gsword etc. Hatchet has similar issues sometimes.

If it was void blade you would land in AGS’s Arkesia not Aeternum …

Now on the flip side there are the times when it works against you.

I’ve leaping struck a lot of pylons.

Lol yeah it happens a lot you bout to get that kill shot, nope someone got close now you hit a full hp target. This happens so often with void blade.

I will check it later after work, but it curious till now I thought every melee weapon has the same and this tracking is only a tool which dont freeze u in 1 place and let you to change attack direction by moving mouse, not auto turn tool to oponent… VB is in big disadvantage…

To be clear, VB does have the same thing, it just doesn’t work right. It’s been broken since it’s release unfortunately. Not only it doesn’t work right, it absolutely goes spastic at times.

I honestly think that the issue with GS tracking is the attack speed of onslaught tree. In defiant I’ve only noticed the lunge on the overhead strike part of the heavy combo, which doesn’t come up fast enough to actually stay on top of someone running away from me. But yeah, I definitely feel the lunge and can see how it’s oppressive if the attacks are flying out at mach speed, and nerfing it might be the best bet. Defiant tree would just be acceptable collateral damage.

Albion has a lot of mage support builds.

They use stamina and bow attacks are faster :eyes:

Scott lane has said a few times in videos he plays musket. So not sure how true that statement is.

They use stamina yes, but there’s so much built in stamina regen with GS it doesn’t matter.

There’s one passive that gives you 25 stamina over 5 seconds (10sec CD) and there’s steadfast strike which gives you 29 Stam for each hit. Most people don’t use steadfast strike(mistake I think). But I can currently get waaaaaay more Regen with a rapier using tondo.

It’s 10 stamina per attack after a dodge. Attacks in onslaught cost 10 stamina. Couple that with strength stamina regen. It’s free homie.

Forgot about that one. So basically it requires you to use 50 or 40 stamina for your attacks to get 10 Stam back if they hit .

Rapier still beats it with passive Stam Regen though.
By a lot.

Rapier skills aren’t burst, and you won’t be hitting as hard. You’re acting like your stamina isn’t recharging as you heavy attack, or use an ability.

Is it recharging like this though?
This is just Regen from the rapier I was blocking so my natural stam Regen didn’t kick in.

Rapier has burst combos what?
One of which is probably the highest single target dmg you can get in the game if set up properly.

If set up properly. Takes a lot longer to set up than just skyward, rush, and a few heavy attacks lmao

Potentially, and will still do more dmg

Also doesn’t have grit.

Flourish n finish has grit. Might just be the flourish part tbh, but if you staggered the enemy that wouldn’t matter

Anyway my point was that a lot of weapons have good Stam regen
