Main quest: A Lost Cause

• Describe the issue you are experiencing: The main quest: A Lost Cause is bugged, it will not let me progress with search for clues to the hermit’s connection to the soulwardens, the books that everyone else is interacting with does nothing, I get no chance to interact with it,
• Is this a bug or an exploit: bug
• (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: I can not continue with the main quest

• What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: I tried to reset the quest and it will just stop at same step again

I fixed it myself by verify integrity of game files in steam ( it had to redownload a corrupted file) and I deleted the “savedata” folder in %appdata%/AGS/New World/ (copy that string in File Explorer) - Or C:\Users[UserName]\AppData\Roaming\AGS\New World (replace with your [UserName] in the path)

after this I could click on the book and my character does not fall though the world/ramps anymore too
