No. I would expect it will be bugged until some patch fixes it. Who knows how long that will take. For now, I would go ahead and submit in-game feedback about the bug because I feel like those in-game bug reports go straight to the dev team.

I have a level 60 on another server and my advice would be just ignore the Main Story for now. It stinks because it’s the best XP in the game but the main reward you get at the end of the Main Story is a Tier 5 Azoth staff which lets you close level 66 Corruption Breaches. On that level 60 character, I got to 60 and then finished the main story 2 months later.

You don’t have to advance the Main Story to do the higher level expeditions Dynasty Shipyard, Lazarus, Genesis, etc. The Main Story is nice because it keeps feeding you tuning orbs for the next dungeon but you can just join other people that have orbs, create the orbs yourself, or find some NPCs that give you an orb. Also consider, doing some weapon quests, side quests, level some skills, faction quests, get to 50 and do some Outpost Rush, invasions, etc. while you wait for a fix.

At this point i just want to know when it will be fixed… i already am realizing im gonna miss this with the 2xp is there a reimbursement or something… atleast on the xp we missed due to a mistake on thier part

What will be done about all of the XP that we lost over the double XP weekend from this being broken? It’s really unfair that we couldn’t benefit from the amount of XP given from the main questline
