- What is your character name in New World: Hands Onsight
- What server/world did you experience your issue on: Sentinel
- Describe the issue you are experiencing: The main story quest where you need to ‘destroy the veins’ in order to reveal the markings on stone pillars in the ruins. Sometimes these don’t “spawn” and the only way to make them spawn is to reset the quest itself and then fast travel. Logging out doesn’t help. But even MORE frustrating than this:
When the vines DO spawn, you’re able to interact with a total of 2 of the markings before you arrive at Yonas at the top of the hill. You interact with him, and the quest does not progress. The quest progression tool on the right simply says “Continue your search for writings” but there are absolutely NO other writings ANYWHERE in either ruins. I’ve reset this quest a dozen times and fast traveled back and forth in order to try and get through it but I’m over it.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Progress normally through the main story quest and arrive on this particular quest step. First time I entered the ruins area, NO VINES spawned so I could not damage them at all to interact with them. I read in another thread that FAST TRAVELING + a quest reset, then returning would fix it. IT DID. However, I can only get to the part mentioned above in that I get to the end of the ruins, Yonas doesn’t let me go further and theres no other places to search.
