im almost certain to much luck start to make thing worst 
I tried runs with no amulet yesterday and didn’t have any luck on 2 runs. Then I took all my jewelry off and had the same results after 2 runs.
So then I got this idea I had been pondering for a few days. I took down my trophies in all my houses yesterday and did 3 more runs. Between armor (with pearls), jewelry and bags I have 31.9 luck. I did not take my shield & sword on any run. Here are the results from those 3 runs with no trophies:
Run 1 - trophies down - pvp flagged
Got Cursed chest
Run 2 - trophies down, not pvp flagged
Got Armorer’s Journal, Ice Crystal Core, 7 furniture schematics, 2 food recipes
Run 3 - trophies down, pvp flagged
Got Quartermaster’s Notes
I was too tired to go on another unflagged chest run but I may or may not be onto something with the trophies. I am going to test it more later today but I have never, ever ever ever got this many drops in about 3 hours of playing. These runs were back to back to back. It’s possible by taking my trophies down I entered a “sweet spot”. In this case that would be my 31.9 luck minus the 1.5 from the trophies for a total of 30.4.
Just something to think about and experiment. Your results may vary.

I suspect they changed the probability of receiving each rarity in the last patch, hence why the chest loot temporarily broke & was only giving armor. Perhaps they intended to increase green drops & reduce the chance of higher rarity items.
I wish they’d stop with the stealth changes - or at least document them??

I have the grand time poobah achieve and still haven’t seen any tolvium. I have 3 minor trophies and stopped running with my luck gear (does not have pearls) as my luck is worse with it equipt. I noticed the only time I get anything good at all is when I am flagged for pvp.
You’re losing hitpoints because you have a house in a town where the HP buff is active, then expires. It’s not a bug.
on my server i can sell stacked deck for 20k, found it today at the daily elite chest run. Do you think its worth to upgrade from one small trophy to a major one or just sell it for 20k cause its much money. Its only 0,5 % more luck at the end
I can’t speak for the trophies I only have the minor ones but where full luck gear and jewellery but not luck on my weapons and I’ve dropped loaded dice
Noob, that buff comes from a town called hale and hearty.
Something is definitely wrong with luck and they are hiding it, I haven’t kept to close a track on loot/chest drops are anything much specifically but you will notice you can no longer craft the +1900 gathering foods (unless it requires a recipe now, don’t know); they are now +1000 and +1400 only. I just stashed those +1900’s (100’s of them) until the manner of things have been sorted.
There is only one answer to your question and only YOU can tell it. For me paying 3 times 50k for a little more luck “if any” isn’t worth it at all NO WAY NEVER NOPE! But if it makes YOU feel good and YOU enjoy the game more because YOU like running the best stuff possible then yes it’s absolutely worth it for YOU.
@Luxendra @Kay or, anyone, can you please help answer this question? I think almost the entirety of the population would benefit from knowing the truth of how luck is ACTUALLY working vice how we have read data miner’s research of how it’s supposed to work. I find myself no better off with 42% luck than I do 30%.
That is probably the closest we ever get from the official people. The devs ignore this already for months.

Thanks, Hopefully more attention is brought to it. However, seeing there are a dozen threads concerned about the same thing makes me think there won’t be a response…
they dont even know themselves how that luck factor works…
I can tell you for certain Major Loot Luck trohpies are a detriment.

I have the same issue, i have got 3 major loot luck trophies and ++ luck set and my loots getting worse. I don’t want to leave my major trophies so if I don’t use luck set, can I take more loot ? any advice for this shit ?
