Make Influence only when u hold a fort

just stay in the fort and generate influence per minute and if the enemy wants to come he can attack you and if they win they generate influence

great idea

Does not work well in low pop servers like mine where the biggest company is literally doing 50 v 20 and less wars. They run around with pvp all day too so the other factions can’t even farm in peace with pvp off if they run into them since they usually roll in groups anyway.

well the low pop servers will eventulaly merge

We can’t count on merges to prevent this if a faction holds a dominant # of active players over others still.

well make a limit that a faction can have players,to be like one third of the maximum population on server

The key word was ACTIVE players.

If purple, green and yellow all have 250 players.
But…
Purple has 250 players online most of the time
Yellow has 150 players online most of the time
Green has 60 players online most of the time.

Green has very little chance of holding a fort and getting influence up on time. The server would stay dominated by purple and yellow.

just add luck bonus to join the smaller faction :stuck_out_tongue: haha until there within 10% of eachother population wise :stuck_out_tongue:

LOL that would actually work

best would be to make it like in guild wars 2,all players in the same server are a team and compete with other players on different server, and each week we have a ranking list from and the server progress up the list or down the list,so that they will evan out and fight the same servers that are equal like them

IV been investigating improvements to this entire war-dec system. I personally think some major changes should come to pvp, and i’ll be doing some posts on it soon. I will say here, forts need to have a more significant part in the life of a company, even to the point where they perfer that over cities (level 5 all crafting stations in 1 in a fort for the owning company only?)

It’s never gonna happen because the devs WANT there to be constant wars.

Not to mentions wars are 50v50 because they want territory exchanges to be fair. Having a system like this means big companies will win before there even is a war because they’ll have more numbers to hold a fort.
