Make the likes of Myrk instanced 5 mans

Tune them for 5 people.

These zerg runs are plain silly, the only upside is they grab all the aggro to let you rat in behind them. (and to actually get the choice to Find a Group for tempest.

Surely the swarms aren’t played as intended. How challenging.
How many 5 mans have those areas just over run with like 30 players?

I imagine this would go down like a cup of cold sick but just say’n.

You can do Myrk with 5 people, preferably 10. I totally disagree it should be instanced and group-restricted. Open-world is the only way to have inclusive company play.

While zergs are annoying, they are also good for the community.

Large open world farm spots where people just run in and go crazy are what have kept Guild Wars 2 a top MMO for years.

I’m not personally a fan, but I’m also very glad it’s there because I know what it does to keeping a game’s population healthy.

The only problem I see is that you need to get through that area to unlock an MSQ dungeon. Move a path to that dungeon to ‘just to the side’ of the area and then things would be perfect.

Fair points. Maybe an instanced version for smaller groups.
I don’t know, seems a shame its just blitzed. I suppose its matter of timing.
I’ll solo rat for zerg scraps
The only time I’ve been through it was chasing the swarm, all I really wanted was the TP at Tempest. It was fun I admit. I’m surprised my GPU didn’t cook.

Yes i would love to can do both of it, instanced and open World.

And yes you can do Myrk with a group of 5 People but it’s Gearscore perspective with 5 newcomers and 500 GS I doubt u can do it.

The other thing is the notice of the Map I would like to see:
-recommended Gearscore…
…also a recommended gearscore on normal Expeditions (tempest Heart for example)
And regions like Brimstone Sands in my opinion

There’s definitely a gear check in Brimstone past a point for a fresh 60.
Nice for the first few quests rewards anyway.
