Make the open world fun not dungeons

If I wanted to run instanced dungeons, I would play another game. The fun of new world is running around the open world and interacting with others not instanced dungeons. AGS should lean into the good parts of the game not follow other mmos. The devs only talking about dungeons and making the open world more annoying to play is making the game worse. Waiting around for groups is not content, and mobs with large health pools is also not content just a waste of time. Having most of the server population in instanced dungeons/opr is a dead open world.

The ambusti changes killed part of the game for some dumb “group activity” check list when it used to be one of the most active parts of the game. It is now just zergs or small groups/solos killing snipers/trash mobs for 20 minutes then ratting the last half. Old myrk was kind of fun to run around in but now is just boring lanes. Remove the trash mobs and make some fun jumping puzzles or add small/mid bosses with small health pools. Add open world rewards like trophy slot increases that anyone can get but takes skill to solo, and PVP will happen naturally anyway.

Do not add world bosses or something overpowered that make guild camping happen. They already have infinite money and war content. They can do everything solo or in groups if they feel like it anyway.

Also, AGS should not take a 3 week vacation for weapon balancing after releasing a new weapon and during the time most people will be playing the game on their time off plus a steam sale. It would take almost no dev time and would be a proper way of balancing not just big changes after everyone is sick of the opr meta. Its like you guys never get told about Netflix’s patches every 20 seconds shit every monthly meeting like all the other programmers.

they should make a dungeon system like albion or something where random mini dungeons spawn in the world frequently in each zone, with a couple mini bosses, couple big chests, and an end boss with end chest.
solo and group, anyone who enters flags, and if you get pvp’d inside you get kicked out.

Would like to see PvP hotspots around the map with risks involved too.
Like resource mines that have alot of a certain resource like Ori mines where there a decent amount of faster respawn Ori nodes.

However entering these hot spots flag you and there a risk involved which is you drop everything you gained in there until you leave hotspot which after 5 minutes you unflag and everything is now safe.
Elite zones and these new resource hotspots should be the areas marked for PvP hormones. Hight reward area but also higher risk of loosing what you get.

As much as I like this idea it will just be a zergfest, but if not it would be cool. People would take in shittier gear for sure and store their bis sets could be fun

They’ll take bis it not a full loot system they only loose items they gained in the zone so they prob use via combat gear over luck gear.

Mob drop would be trash since it only drops for so many people. Resource would be bad if Romany people too since I’ll be waiting if U zerg. Which know St leave chests which U can make chest lootable for 20 players before going on a5 min c’d from first person that looted it so you only realy want 20 people for elite runs or it starts to be ineffienct

That being said tents will need looked at so they can either be destroyed by enemy factions or can be placed close to hotzobes like 500-1km away should be same for fort area too tbh
