i actually agree, i farmed all the void ore for my set and sold 2 more pieces. Although doing this change without making voidbent BoP is also pointless. Mines in myrkgard can’t be farmed by bots, you need to dodge the mobs.
This is what happens when you have static spawns. It’s just plain lazy coding by AGS.

True true, I hit that place up sometimes too. Lots of farm parties at peak hour so I might try to hit it a little earlier
Yeah. I feel like wherever I go gathering or fishing, some one is waiting there for resources to respawn.

Well they are using their own time to farm it, you can always report them for RMT, voidbent are getting cheaper each day, people are mining 24/7

True enough, I did send the report. Just gonna try to find a part of the day when it’s slowest but it should still be regulated somehow. RMT ruining the economy as always.
And if YOU stand by a node waiting for the respawn, sometimes it’s bugged and you gotta either relog or run away from it to see it. The amount of times I waited for Ironwood trees to respawn only to see someone run up and chop an invisible node. Can’t win
Well that’s the problem of all games, RMT, that’s some games just sell the currency themselves via shop
There is an easy solution, and that is to make it slightly less rare and also add it to drop tables from all sorts of ores.
It’s crazy priced atm and those that can farm it now will be swimming in money whereas those going slower will be destitute trying to buy or farm it.
I was saying this to myself tonight when farming, like platinum/starmetal nodes should drop it too. The excitement that hit when I tapped those 2 void ore before just makes the farm worth it so I’m gonna keep on trying at different times.
Unfortunately, just wish people wouldn’t give in and buy the gold instead of earning it themselves. I get it, not everyone has the time to farm but feeding into the RMT just ruins it for the rest of us.
Maybe the problem is with those bots themselves rather than an item being BOP or not?
At the moment it’s a clear and obvious problem with the market which makes it easy to exploit which will attract the RMT - the only real fix is to reduce the price and change what drops it to make it more common which pushes the price down and solves the issue.
Making it bind on drop would be the worst possible solution- unless it drops in much more places which are accessable to many more players.
I mean sure, that’s the core issue but RMT will forever exist. The fact that they’re specifically farming this one item is ruining it for those who actually want to make Voidbent gear. Making it BoP would shoo RMT from the highest selling item in game, and give those who want it for making the gear a better chance since the drop rate is such shit.
I mean. I don’t know about WORST possible solution but it would be more rewarding for the people who actually want to make the gear if it were BoP. There isn’t much satisfaction buying the ore for cheap and just spitting out legendary 600 gear. That’s just me though.
Well consdering people are duplicating it into the 1000s and messing the prices up, i honestly don’t care anymore…
I want all focus on exploits and slowly swapping client authority to server authority over time as much as possible. Then a dlc to take the gs to 650 and make all current gear useless then add new metals etc to farm making the duped stuff useless outside of leveling skills up.
