Make zones or Areas of zones mandatory PVP with the following features:

This is an open world PVP issue ever since.
You are doing your thing, 2 people come and kill you.
2 minutes later you are preparing to kill them and are succesfully doing so a few times, to stand your grinding spot.
Then the other too other start crying or gather more friends.

What is wrong there? You didnt gather friends for any reason.
I dislike open world PVP because as a fact it never satisfies both parties, but I dont opt out of it because it can go both directions at any time.

thats the thing if you want to pvp then have the flag on and if you dont want to pvp dont have it. There is more that like the pve part then the pvp. You can se it in NW right now. There is not many at all that have pvp on cus it is a toxic culture behinde it. If pvp would be forced down on the pve players then they will live and then the pvp players can run around for hours trying to find someone to fight.

I guess Amazon realised it and went more pve content and made pvp an option insted of pure pvp game.

Pvp is in my opinion only fun during an pvp event not in open world cus that is just toxic

Because by wanting pvp only zones with special perks for those zones, you’re telling them they DO have to go into those areas. You yourself said those zones would have “higher tier” materials.

Open PvP invariably devolves into groups camping solo players, higher levels picking on lower levels, etc. I’ve experienced this many times, it sucks and in my opinion, anyone who thinks this style of gameplay is a good idea must have something wrong upstairs. Again, that’s just my opinion, not a statement of fact.

Are you ok? Suggesting someone has something wrong upstairs because they enjoy PVP IN A GAME?! Are you insane, brother?

You make it toxic by whining.

me remembering the majority of other MMOs where all the best gear is from PvE…
if the point is being fair lets take a look at both sides

im not saying forced pvp is a good thing, i dont think it is. i would rather see entire pvp servers for people who want that

this game needs more instanced pvp tho. arenas, battlegrounds ect.
arenas are coming, hopefully we see some form of more casual 10v10/20v20 objective games.

new world is young, high hopes!

I want dynamic pvp with purpose not arenas and battlegrounds. For that we have mobas and competitive shooters.

im here mainly for pvp but we need to understand that many many people dont like that and it would have a large impact on the games population

pretty par for the course in MMORPGs

Forcing playstyles on a wide-range of customers is not a recipe for success.

Upping rewards for flagging? Sure. That leaves the choice to the customer.

None of your ideas are bad, but forcing PvP is not a solution.

LOL @ you try hards attempting to force your will unto everyone. 100% American spotted lol

It’s not forced. They dont have to go into those zones if they dont want to.

How about zones where they can’t go if they are flagged? Or maybe give them an xp penalty for being flagged? See how silly that sounds?

AGS has already given pvp’ers an extra something over the pve crowd, and yet, that’s just not enough for some people.

Then i go in those zones unflagged. Perfectly fine, i dont mind.

the ppl in here that is trying to force it on us pve ppl are the toxic ones and the ones in game that bully ppl just becus they can is what keeps most ppl away from pvp

i am not say all pvp players are doing it but sadly way way to many is sadly.
And the more you try to force it on us the more we will back way from it insted of trying to fix the world of ppl and be a good sport so more ppl will enjoy it.

Small skirmishes dont have purpose, they are only for killing time, not players.

But there are already bigger PVP features in this game and you know them.

No point in turning any zones to pvp only. I think the lv 60 zone should be though because everyone complains there’s nothing to do at end game so let them fight it out.

I’m in agreement with some mandatory PvP zones. However it doesn’t need the additional rewards. As people have stated before the reduction in player count in itself would be a reward making resources more bountiful.

I wouldn’t argue with a T5 mob I could get T1 leather from though…

This is exactly the problem though, and it doesn’t seem like you’re understanding that. You’re saying zones that are PVP with better rewards. That in and of itself feels forced, because people are going to want those better rewards.

Then accept the risk of doing so. If not, stay in your pve zones. You’re not forced.
