Making every craft BoP and every drop BoE

BoP= Bind on Pickup. You cant sell or trade it
BoE= Only binds if you equip it. Tradable
(Just in case someone doesnt know)

I was wondering what are ALL the consequences (negative and positive) if they decide to make all crafts non tradable and all drops tradable (or, make an item that can “unbind” items, with crafting being binded by default)

Why?
I think it would make crafting more important, since people would need to craft their own stuff instead of buying everything from the market.
This can have both a negative impact (Crafters not being able to make coin) and positive (professions are more useful now, currently having at least 1 crafter on your guild makes leveling up a profession worthless unless you play solo)

Also, this could bring some balance to the economy, since instead of pricing stuff for how much it costed (although RNG takes a big part on rolling BiS), pricing will depend on how rare is that kind of drop. Now that we are getting golden scarabs, it will be inevitably easier to roll BiS gear, or at least useful PvE gear.

What do you think about this?

No

No

Great idea but no,
The distribution of BOE and BOP is fine as it is now
Do not break something that has no issue….

I will differentiate by having the crafter name on the crafted.
